Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet 702A is a one bedroom, one bath condo with beautiful views of the Gulf from the 7th floor of 'A' building.

• Access to balcony from living room and offers a table and four chairs.

• 16" tile throughout unit.

• Fully equipped kitchen, there are four stools at the breakfast counter for eating.

• Washer and Dryer in unit

• Living room has a sofa sleeper with a new mattress and a 42" flat screen TV/DVD.

• Master bedroom has a queen size bed with a 32" flat screen TV and does not have a door.

Or you may choose to go to the waterpark in the morning with the kids (one person is free) and your husband can go play golf (one person is free) and then meet that afternoon to go on the dolphin cruise (one person is free.) You may do some or all of the activities every day and one of your party is free every day.

These activities are yours to use if you choose to do so at no additional cost or obligation.

The condo we rented was average/nice. The cleanliness wasn't tip top but not bad. Meaning we had to move a chair and there was trash and cookies under the chair, some splatter on the wall behind trash can and the mirror in the bedroom wasn't clean. I am a clean freak so that may not bother anybody else. The sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable to sit on. The cushions sunk in making it impossible to enjoy sitting in the living room. So we let the bed out thinking that would make it better but way worse bar right in the middle of your back. The dishwasher was also broken and I learned that after loading it all week thinking I would run it on last day. The walkways where the elevators were smelled like trash sitting out on a very hot day the front office smelled the same. Other than that what I call minor issues we had a great time and would recommend that condo to anyone we know. I would tell them about the uncomfortable couch but the rest was just minor issues. We stayed a week so having to sit on a couch like that was very disappointing when we paid $1190 for 5 nights.

I too enjoy cleanliness. I can have the sofa evaluated to see if there is something that can be done to prevent the cushions from sinking. Happy to report the dishwasher is now fixed and in working order. The horrid smell could possible coming from the trash chutes and the heighten use they are getting during the summer season. Thankfully you did not have to spend much time in the onsite office. We value our guest input and appreciate your feedback!

The condo was very clean and updated. Its location was great as we were wanting to avoid the Spring Break crowd but wanted beach time. The lagoon offered some nice fishing opportunities for my son and the pool was nice to relax in. The only down side to the entire trip was when the door blew open from some high gusts in the middle of the night.

The price was very good. The ocean view was nice. Nice chairs on the balcony. Convenient to the beach. The quality of the rental was very average. The mattress was moderate quality and not very comfortable. The couch was also worn out so it didn't sit very well. The internet worked, but was so slow you couldn't hardly surf much less watch netflix or other movie streaming. The pool was nice although we didn't use it. It had shaded areas around the pool all during the day for those that don't want to get too much sun exposure. The elevator was fast and the building had carts for use to take stuff to and from the room. I would only recommend for two people. There is not a door between the bedroom and the den, just a curtain.

I decided to take a vacation alone to relax and do some thinking. Friends of mine that had stayed in the same set of condos told me about this place. It was perfect for relaxing. The beach was beautiful and the waterway behind was awesome. I watched the sun set every night. I would have liked to have had food places a little closer but other than that, it was great.
