“Comfort”

Reviewed 21 Jan 2017

Lovely and charming cottage in very pleasant surroundings. Quaint medieval village. Very tiny TV. In crooked angle hard to watch. Chairs and settee in sitting room uncomfortable to sit on for very long. This cottage was very well equipped with everything one could want or needed.

“A truly home from home experience.”

A very comfortable cottage, right in the heart of the village. A two minute walk from the castle, five minute walk from the water mill and again three minute walk to the centre of the town.Leave your car as you will not need it over a weekend.Lots of walks if you have a dog.A very pleasant, restful break.

Absolutely charming cottage, clean and a good situation in the middle of fabulous Dunster. The view over the graveyard from the second bedroom and the constant ringing of the church bells, especially at 1 o'clock in the morning, was unexpected but interesting!

“A lovely stay”

Reviewed 14 Jul 2015

This is a lovely cottage. Very traditional but with all the extras you could want. It felt spacious despite its small size and very comfortable. We stayed there for a wedding in the local church and tithe barn so we were perfectly placed! The key system is a great idea and worked well for us all. Dunster is also absolutely beautiful. If this is booked up I'd recommend the higher orchard b&b. The luttrell arms is lovely too. Thank you!

“Everything we needed for our Short Break, great central location”

Visiting relatives and seeing a bit of Exmoor for a few days. Excellent value for money. Four adults, plenty of room. All amenities needed. Good central heating and hot water and wifi. Great location for walking into Dunster and surrounding area.

“Comfortable well equipped cottage in a great location.”

The service was excellent and the cottage itself was clean, warm and well equipped. Dunster is a lovely Exmoor town with plenty of wonderful walks right on the doorstep. I enjoyed listening to the church bells, the walking and the cafes in the high street. The only downside was the weather!
