Description

Ruffles Cottage is a cosy, comfortable cottage for up to 4 guests, set in the heart of the beautiful mediaeval village of Dunster. The cottage was built in 1844 and has all ‘mod-cons' whilst retaining its traditional character, complete with a wood-burning stove. The property has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, an upstairs bathroom and a small courtyard to the rear of the property with garden furniture. Also for your use is a shared garden which is a few doors down the road. The cottage backs onto St. George's Church and enjoys the melodic chimes of the Church bells. Views of Conygar Tower can be seen in the distance and a glimpse of Dunster Castle too. There are numerous walks immediately from the door – up on to the moor via Grabbist Hill (which is just a few paces away), Dunster deer park and woods, up to Conygar Tower and of course the beautiful castle grounds.

A security deposit of £100 is required when booking this property. This will be added to the total price of your booking, and will be refunded after your stay unless the owner discovers damage to the property or its contents after your departure.

Ruffles Cottage kitchen is fitted with washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric oven and ceramic hob and has microwave, toaster, kettle, a variety of cookware, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. Other equipment includes television and DVD player, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, travel cot, stair-gate, high chair and many books, games, and DVDs. Wifi is available throughout the property.

A small courtyard is situated to the rear of the property with garden furniture. Also for your use is a shared garden which is a few doors away. Bikes, canoes, etc may be stored securely in the adjoining lean-to. Free parking is available in the road outside the cottage.

Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (maximum of 2). A supplementary fee of £15 will be added to your invoice. Please do not allow your dogs on the furniture or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time.
