Angel's Gate St. Peter penthouse is hanging on Borgo Pio entrance – pedestrian area -and has a panoramic terrace with rocking sofa and living area, overlooking the dome of St. Peter.

With a pleasant walk you can reach the Vatican Museums, St. Peter's Basilica, Sant'Angelo Castle and the Ottaviano subway station. The apartment is located in the historic area of BorgoPio, near Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese and Via del Corso, which are less than a mile walk.

“Fantastic Location, Great Views, Lovely Apartment”

We stayed at the Angel's Gate for 6 days at the end of Sept 2012 and enjoyed every minute of it. The two best features of this apartment: 1. the location and 2. the terrace overlooking the Vaticano district and Saint Peters. The apartment is well-equiped and clean. For two people there was more than enough space, although the bathrooms are small and the kitchen minimalistic. The main bedroom is in the back facing a small side street and away from the apartment entrance, so although you're right in the middle of things it was quiet and comfortable for sleeping. There's an elevator up to the top floor, where the apartment is location, so getting to it is a breeze. If we ever get back to Rome, we'll be sure to stay there.

Our hosts - Alessia & Giampaolo were very friendly and so helpful, the literature and maps they provided made it simple to get around (without getting lost!!). The apartment was big enough for 3 and we spent most of our time either out or on the terrace which had amazing views of the Vatican and from the rear of the apartment we looked onto Castell St Angelo. There was a supermarket close by and a large selection of restaurants just around the corner. We came away with good memories and will definitely be returning.

I stayed for 4 nights here in September. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly during check-in, showing us everything in the apartment and offering lots of useful tourist information. The apartment itself was spacious and very clean (and well stocked with everything you would need). The terrace offered a fanastic view of St. Peter's Basilica, which was amazing at night. The location was very central, only a 5 minute walk from the Vatican and about 8 minutes to the nearest metro. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Rome!
