Snowcrest 117 location was extremely convenient to get to slopes, groceries, connect to the free bus system, and rent skis -- all walkable. Excellent for 2 people.
Response from the manager Thanks for your review!
I want to start off by saying the service provided by Park City Lodging was impeccable, from Check-in to Check-Out great. I loved having my luggage picked up from the Condo, and getting to the offices was simple. As for the unit itself, it really wasn't set up for a family of 4, who ski. There was absolutely no place for our ski hats/gloves etc. There also wasn't enough drawer space, as the only set of drawers were in the bedroom, and the top drawer didn't work. Additionally, the table to eat at, was restrictive in it's size for a family of 4. And on the third day, my daughter went to sit on one of the chairs and it fell apart on her. And to be honest, only 2 of the 4 chairs had backs on them. I for one, am not comfortable in such chairs, actually, we had to rotate who sat in the ones w/o backs. I think amongst the most uncomfortable, was that the hot water only lasted for about a 2 minute shower..and as I like to bath, I unfortunately only had enough water for about 1/2 of a tub. Not very comfortable after a day of skiing. Lastly, the sofa-bed had to be removed from the frame, as it was so thin that the metal could be felt through the mattress itself. Also, the waste can, was far too small for a family of 4, which is how the unit is advertised. And not to the Park City Lodging, you may want to enhance your Wireless connection information. There's no mention of first connecting to a SnowCrest Wifi, and then loading your internet browser to the Welcome screen. Just telling the renters, to type in guest-guest, is not quite enough. We stayed for 3 nights we paid almost 500 dollars. The condition of the condo was extremely hot and humid we got no sleep and had no way to cool the place down. The kitchen was way to small and the fact it sits on the bottom floor we had to keep the sliding glass door shut so intruders could not just walk in. Would have much rather have stayed in a hotel the owner has not compensated me so very poor services
Response from the manager Park City Lodging, Inc. appreciates your review. We are sincerely sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. Many of the condominiums throughout Park City are not air conditioned. Most summers it is cool enough in the mountains that it isn't needed. Unfortunately, we have had an unusually hot summer in Utah with record setting temperatures and therefore the properties that do not have air conditioning have been extra warm. Some of our newer properties do have A/C and you can request them when you book with us next time. Sincerely, Park City Lodging, Inc.
I love at Snowcrest. This is one of my many stays there. The location is very privileged;ski in ski out to Park City Mountain, five minutes from The Canyons(by car),very close to the supermarket and right next to Main Street. The staff from Park City Lodging are fantastic. I just did not give a five star because unit 117 dose'nt have a dish washer. That was the only thing i missed.
Response from the manager Thank you for reviewing your stay at Snowcrest 117. The highest compliment we can receive is a return guest, especially one that has stayed with us many times! Also, we appreciate you recognizing our great staff! We look forward to assisting you in the future. Sincerely, Park City Lodging, Inc.
“Not for long-term stays.”
This is an excellent location as it is walking distance both to the lifts and also to the supermarket. The size of the unit is most suitable for 2 persons, definitely no more than 3. A unique feature is the fireplace with plentiful supply of fire wood just outside. During our stay, the service provided by the management was second to none. Issues with replacement of lost keys, clogged sink, TV remote control, supply of a extra roll-on bed were met with a timely response. The lack of a clothes washing machine and dryer, not just in the unit but the whole complex was a major drawback for us a long term guests. On our next visit, we would not hesitate to stay at Snowcrest again but only in a unit which comes with clothes washing facilities.
Response from the manager Park City Lodging, Inc. appreciates your review and for recognizing our great staff. Customer service is very important to us and it is great to hear that your requests and needs were met in a timely manner. Thank you and do come back soon! Sincerely, Park City Lodging, Inc.
“Location was great”
The location of this condo was great - The bus stop was near by and we could walk over to a lift at Park City. We had a couple of issues with Park City Lodging - We paid for a roll away bed for our daughter and when we went to set it up at night it was covered with mouse droppings. Not the best way to start our trip. We had an ick factor for the rest of the night. In addition, the pool was closed for our trip which was very upsetting to our daughter. Overall, Park City is a great place to ski and we would definitely go back but we would probably pick a different place to stay.
Response from the manager Thank you for your review of your recent stay with us. Park City Lodging, Inc. sincerely apologizes that a rollaway bed was delivered to your property that wasn't in perfect condition. Because Park City is a mountain town, sometimes unwelcome "visitors" from the outside decide to move indoors. While we do everything possible to eliminate incidents such as the one you experienced, there are those rare occasions when even our most diligent efforts are not rewarded. Rest assured, every rollaway has been thoroughly checked, all linens have been laundered and treated, and additional procedures have been put in place so this does not reoccur. We do hope that you will contact us for your future lodging needs and be confident that your accommodations and any additional services will be provided with the upmost scrutiny and care. Sincerely, Park City Lodging, Inc.
