“Nicely decorated, comfortable, quiet rental for 2-4 people very close to Red Rock area!”

Reviewed 24 Apr 2016

Casita Red Rock is in a very scenic neighborhood of quiet homes located in Jack's Canyon, on the edge of many Red Rock attractions and close to the village of Oak Creek. It's a comfortable, nicely decorated, up to date, small cottage for 2-4 people with a full kitchen,1 bedroom and an otherwise open floor plan. One of the couches in the living room opens to a bed. If you're looking for a place that is private and a 20-30 minute drive to the "business" of uptown Sedona you will thouroughly enjoy staying here!

“Comfy Casita”

Reviewed 30 Jun 2015

My husband and I recently visited the Casita with another couple, for a couple of days. We were immediately taken by it's quaint surroundings upon arrival. There is a beautiful view of the red mountains from the front driveway and from the back. We were pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and clean the Casita was on the inside and more than roomy enough for the 4 of us. I particularly appreciated having the laundry facilities also. Everything we needed was provided which made it feel very homey. The Casita is conveniently located near the highway, making it easy to travel to Sedona, Jerome or even the Grand Canyon. I would love to go back and I would recommend this stay to anyone who was looking for a private get away, close to nearby attractions.

“What you see is what you get, what you don't is better yet!”

My daughter and I came to the Casita on a Mother/Daughter yearly get away. We were not disappointed. The Casita was clean, comfortable, cozy, private and was tucked in amongst the Red Rocks in a friendly residential area just off the beaten path with easy access to what Sedona life has to offer. It felt like our home away from home. It wasn't easy leaving and we hope to be back soon.

“Very peaceful and comfortable.”

The casita has everything you need to make it your comfortable home-away-from home. Rick, the host, strikes the right balance between friendly and allowing you privacy. We woke up to the sound of rock doves calling every morning, a big difference from hotels. We'd go back if we were in the area again.

“Quiet, lovely retreat in Red Rock Country”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2014

Casita Red Rock is a relaxing guest house in Oak Creek Village. Sedona and Oak Creek Village are busy places, but the casita, three miles off State Route 179 on a paved room, is very quiet. Beautifully furnished and kept, with all the equipment and amenities needed, including washer and dryer. Very nice grounds with benches under the trees. Hosts available to answer questions and share information about the area.

“Relaxing and just enough off the beaten path!”

The Casita was perfect! We loved that it was out of the main part of Sedona and away from it all. The Casita was very cozy and perfectly appointed. We loved having the kitchen, grill, and laundry. Those red rocks sure do get you dirty quick! All in all it was a perfect stay. The only downside was that I didn't get to see a Javelina. Next time!

“Our stay at the Casita Red Rock was peaceful, exquisitely beauti”

First, we wondered before we arrived whether or not the casita and its surroundings would actually look like the pictures. It is all every bit as beautiful as the photos and then some. There is no shopping center across the street, or garbage dumpsters under the window, just majestic red rock in three directions. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely for long walks. The space inside is comfortably arranged, cozy but not crowded and with so many little added decorative touches--as is the patio and surrounding garden. It is on a street out away from the madding crowd, but not so far as to be reclusive. The kitchen was so well equipped and easy to use that we cooked in almost the whole month we were there. Our hosts, Marie and Rick, took great care to make sure we had everything we needed, but were not intrusive. We had all the privacy we needed and wanted. As the listing indicates, our two small dogs were welcomed and loved their vacation away from winter. Really can't say enough about this lovely vacation home.

“We slept until 10:00am every day.”

This was the simplest Vrbo/Flipkey rental we have ever done. Bed was comfy - we slept until 10:00am every day. The location is slightly out of town. Very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed this as we live in a city and it was great not hearing emergency services sirens. If I have to have a negative comment we couldn't find a cheese grater. Good wi-fi. Dealing with the owners was a pleasure. Minor hiccup with my email address at start - solved with a telephone call. Everything was prompt. Damage deposit returned promptly. Paying by credit card simplified matters greatly.

“Perfect”

Had a wonderful time.the Casita which is located in a quiet scenic neighborhood with wildlife. Saw dear and javelina ...and a mother javelina nursing a baby right in the middle of our street. Very good restaurants nearby. Sedona six miles away. Excellent location. The Casita itself is roomy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would rent this again!
