“Beautiful central apartment!”

Reviewed 23 Feb 2015

Lovely spacious flat with amazing views over the whole of Florence!Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Bathrooms were also clean and modern. Easy reach of amenities and all the sites no buses needed! Only down points were the walk up to the apartment so make sure your suitcase isn't heavy but you only do it once a day so really not an issue! And the showers were a bit small to move around in but they were hot and clean so again not a major problem but if you are on the larger side something to think about! Service was excellent our check in and out were smooth and the man who met us was lovely and informative! Really cannot find a bad point to make its well worth the money!

Response from the manager Thank you for your great review for our Sant Antonino apartment. The location is in the vibrant San Lorenzo area, truly the heart of the historical Florence. Less than a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and just next to the Medici chapel and so italian San Lorenzo fresh market. We are so pleased you enjoyed this fine apartment and the quality of our service. You are correct historical buildings were not designed to welcome the futur elevators !!The view and the 2 terraces are even better after the climb !! Keep with us on Facebook and hope to see you again soon!! Arrivederci! Apartments Florence Team

“Perfect location!”

This apartment is wonderful. Awesome location (e.g. 5 mins walk from main train station, 5 mins walk to Duomo, 2 mins walk to central market, etc). High quality fitout. Only disadvantage is the 81 steps you have to climb to reach it... BUT the views from the 2 roof terraces make up for the climb. Cannot fault the unit.

Response from the manager Grazie mille for such a nice review on our Sant' Antonino Apartment. We are so pleased you like it and made your stay in Florence even better. This apartment is located in the heart of the historic city so only short walk to all of the sights, as well as a number of fantastic restaurants. The view here is one of the best after the climb !! As you wrote it's well worth it to enjoy the 2 terraces! Keep with us on Facebook and hope to see you again soon!! Arrivederci! Apartments Florence Team

“Great apartment with fantastic views”

Reviewed 6 May 2014

We visited Florence for four days and had a great time. The apartment was perfect with plenty of space for me, my husband, our daughter and her boyfriend and our son. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain so we couldn´t use the two lovely terraces as much as we had hoped. Great service, nice and clean and the location is perfect!

Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review of your stay at the newly renovated Sant'Antonino apartment, I am so sorry that the weather wasn't kind to you...we are able to offer many services but this is one that we haven't found a solution to just yet! I hope that you also managed to see the newly renovated central market just around the corner, the city has made a huge investment and it really is a great place to discover foods of the area. There is also a new cooking school offering short courses. Grazie, Becky Apartments Florence

“Awesome location with breathtaking views”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2014

The place has been updated tastefully and modern. The location can't be beat in the city center. The size of the apartment with a fantastic terrace with immaculate views is extremely hard to find in the city center and this apartment has it all. My only complaints are that the couches were extremely gross they should have either picked a different color other than white and have them professionally cleaned. With all the modern changes and updates they should put a fresh coat of paint and new textiles...linen, curtains etc.. If you have small children like we have be aware that there is staircase of glass stairs and a flight of concrete stairs up to the living area and kitchen with the bathrooms and bedrooms downstairs. So up and down you go a lot with caution. Also note there is no elevator so 8 flight of stairs you will take. We love Florence and this place gives you the city at its best with location, the views, comfort and space we will definitely be back.

Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review of your stay at the Sant'Antonino apartment, your feedback was passed to the owner who has since done some renovation work on the apartment to bring it up to the standard that our guests expect to see and make it worthy of the views from the windows! There aren't many places in the world that you get a view of the Medici chapels while lying in bed, it really makes you get the true feeling of the Florentine life! We hope to have you back soon and hope that you will take advantage of our concierge service for any tours or tickets that you may need. Please visit our Facebook page for updates on events, hidden gems of the city and, of course, our new apartments! Grazie, Becky Apartments Florence

“Excellent location right in the middle of the action!”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2013

Great location, not so great apartment! 1st thing to know, is the apartment is 5 floors up. No elevator. Then the apartment is 3 floor high. More stairs. Top patio, dirty table and 2 chair, unusable. Other patio much better. The apartment claims to be 3 bedroom. One bedroom is real. The next bedroom, had 1 bed with a "foam" on top, and the 2nd bed was a piece of foam on the ground. The 3rd bedroom, was a uncomfortable pull out couch! There was a broken love seat at the bottom of the glass stairs. The railing on the glass stairs is broken, and useless. The only really good thing about the apartments is it's location to the action and the bus/train station. We were just a little too old for all the "camping" style living. And the apartment is not what you'd call clean!

Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay at the Sant'Antonino apartment, it is a bit of a climb but the view really does make it worth it! Your feedback on the bed situation was given to the owner and he has since updated all of the beds, there is now a double bed in one room and two bedrooms with 2 single beds that can be put together. The patio furniture has also been given a fix up as it was getting a bit tired when you were here in Florence, we are really very sorry that this wasn't sorted before your arrival. We hope that you enjoyed your stay here in the city and we hope to be able to host you in the near future and show you the improvements to this wonderful and incredibly central apartment. Grazie, Becky Apartments Florence

“Are you ready for rooftop wonderment?”

Reviewed 11 Jul 2013

The terrace was amazing - all of our time at the apartment was on the terrace. Location was fabulous, easy walking to all major attractions. The unit itself was very comfortable. My only gripes are very minor - there were only 4 wine glasses, and not enough toilet paper or soap. But like I said, very minor. We had a great stay!

Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review of your stay at the Sant'Antonino apartment, thank you also for the gripes, we can't improve without them! The views from the terrace are bordering on unique, there aren't many rooftop terraces that offer such incredible 360 degree views! We hope to have you back soon and in the meantime please take a look at our facebook page, we like to give our guests as many facts and tips on the hidden and unknown in our city...and of course our new apartments! Grazie, Becky Apartments Florence

“Fantastic apartment”

Reviewed 6 Jul 2013

We stayed for a week in Florence with our two 12 year old children. The children loved the apartment; they had their own bathroom and walk in wardrobe. The apartment was spacious and had all the essential facilities. The air con was a must as it was so hot! The only downside to this apartment is the amount of steps to climb, particularly considering the heat(although this did help burn calories!)and the fact that gas, electricity and water was not included in the price of renting the apartment - we had to pay an additional 50 Euros when we checked out to cover what we had used. However, I would stay here again.

Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review of your stay at the Sant'Antonino apartment, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. To allow us to keep our prices as low as possible and also allow us to be more considerate to the environment we can't include utilities for stays of 8+ days, up to 8 days though we offer all utilities, cleaning, taxes, internet and linens in our prices to offer a complete service to our clients. We also offer a 24 hour maintenance line, a concierge service and a list of many amenities in our apartments. We really hope to have you back in our wonderful city in the very near future! Grazie, Becky Apartments Florence

“Modern apartment in great location - fantastic views!”

Reviewed 17 Oct 2012

We stayed at Via Sant'Antonino for 4 nights in early October. The location is fantastic with markets and all the major attractions right at your doorstep. There are many stairs to the apartment, but we had 2 young children with us (ages 8 and 11) and they weren't a problem - just a novelty. The view from the rooftop is well worth the climb! The apartment is very modern and Michele was very helpful. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment for people wanting to explore Florence - or just sit back and soak up the view!
