Description
Vederi Estate is a complex of four villas embraced by lush greenery beside an olive grove, cypress and oak tree forest. Ideal for families who seek relaxation, tranquillity and safety.
The property we are renting out is only 10-minute drive from the Medieval, Venetian city of Rethymno, with its narrow windy maze-like streets. The City is set under a Venetian fort beside the Venetian harbour with its picturesque fish restaurants, to the east one can see the magnificent mount Ida the highest peak of Crete where Zeus was born. In the evenings one can enjoy a stroll in this romantic city accompanied by jasmine and orange blossoms, enjoy gourmet restaurants and lively nightlife.

The villa are out of solid stone walls according to the tradition, oak doors, cypress wooden beams on the ceiling with traditional carving. Cast iron hand made furniture, cozy fireplaces, hand blown glass lighting, spacious rooms with lots of light and views. Following the Cretan tradition of handy crafts that goes back to the 10th century second byzantine period, hand woven curtains, table runners, table cloths etc. Egyptian cotton sheets.
Of course internet connection, wifi, air conditioning, satellite TV (Hotbird, Astra), DVD player and a fully equipped kitchen. Tradition combined with modern facilities.

Private swimming pools with sunbeds and sun umbrella or shade under a knarled olive tree. Spacious, airy, furnished verandas and balconies with a sense of privacy. A private garden with a variety of herbs and spices of Crete, as well as orchards to enjoy the organic fruit and vegetables of the Estate.

“A little paradise close to the city, so far away from the real day life.”
Vedari Estate is located in beautiful Cretan nature, only 15 minutes far away from Rethymno city. Staying there is a really pleasure. From the first moment we enjoy the place privacy, great hospitality and feel like home. We had unforgettable moments there and relaxing time. We choice Vederi Estate every year for our summer holidays since 2010 and we wish to be there again. Excellent vacation for summer and winter time as well, especially for people who love nature excursions.

“Great Extended Holiday Villa”
We very much enjoyed our stay at Vederi Estate. The villa was beautiful, perfectly maintained, and delightfully furnished. In addition, the swimming pool was sparkling clean and perfectly treated. We highly recommend this property to anyone, especially families, who wish solitude and distance from the faster paced coastal destinations, without sacrificing quick and easy access to the city when needed. The location is ideal for an extended stay with easy day trips to various points of interest. For excursions to other parts of the island, this villa could easily be used as a centrally located base, leaving most belongings safely behind, while spending a few nights in a hotel elsewhere. It's always nice to return " home" after an excursion elsewhere on the island. And, I must say we truly did feel at home as the owner and his family made us feel as though we belonged there. Wnen we did have a minor problem with the washer it was immediately attended to by a professional plumber. Moreover, even though there was a brand new coffee maker in the kitchen, we preferred a coffee press and so the owner's wife immediately purchased one and had it delivered in time for our first morning's breakfast along with a delicioius batch of local cookies and cakes. We were truly impressed by the great welcome we received at Vederi Estate. Again, it is with pleasure that we recommend Vederi Estate. We are certain you will absolutely love the place!

“great holidays in Creete”
This property is very well situated in the beautiful countryside and at the same time close to the village Prinès . 5 minutes by car and 15 minutes by walking . There you can find a good restaurant and grocery . From the house it's very easy to go by car to the seaside . The house : perfect for 2 persons or for a family . You can enjoy the swimming pool and at the same time also the garden with is typical vegetation . This kind of "stone house" is good when the weather is hot , because it's fresh inside . Good and complete equipment for the kitchen and bathroom . Comfortable bedrooms with large terrace . Music and television in the lounge . The owners are very very friendly !
