“a great escape”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2013

Very friendly service. Well maintained site. Modern lodge. Very comfy beds. Peaceful surroundings. Beautiful views. Park for the kids. Wine on arrival. What more could you ask for?

“Great place. Great value. Highly recommended for a base to expl”

Although it lacks the character of an old quaint cottage I would highly recommend it. Clean, modern, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen. We felt very at home. The owners and staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Don't be put off by a holiday park. It was very quiet yet close to the village. A great base to explore from. There's loads to do around there. A lovely place, highly recommended. We will go back!

“Absolutely loved it!”

Me and my family, 5 of us had a long Easter break here. It was lovely - had the weather all be it snowy and cold but sunny. Could not fault it. Good pubs near by and easy to get to from the M6 and lovely views. Great facilities and excellent lodge - will go back again, which speaks for itself. You wont be disapointed.
