“We wanted a 'room' with a view and that's exactly what we got.”

We actually stayed for just over 2 months. We were a little hesitant at first because of the size (850 sq. ft.); we thought it might be too small. Our second choice was in one of the South Seas towers that had almost 1100 sq. ft. at about the same price. As mentioned above, Tradewinds had a better view (we are 'outside people,' we were out on the balcony all the time, except between about 4PM and sunset; it was too bright and kind of hot!). Plus, the walk to the beach was shorter (still quite a hike, but shorter). So, the size was not a problem. We liked the way the condo was laid out; living area between the 2 bedrooms. It was well stocked. I can't think of anything we needed that it didn't have. I don't know if the owner is going to any more improvements after he replaced the living area floor with tile. The bathrooms and kitchen really need updating. They were clean, just old and dated. More than likely we will come back to Marco Island. If he didn't update anything, would we come back to his condo anyway ? Yes. We like Marco Island much better than Naples or Ft. Myers. Most of our shopping and dining out was on the Island. We shopped and dined elsewhere, but just to see what other areas had to offer. (Since I did not fill in the screen name and location before submitting, it made me do so. Trouble is, I don't know what you are looking for in the 2 fields, so I put something in there just to get past your edit)
