“This unit has a wonderful deck with great views.”

Reviewed 28 Mar 2014

The décor was attractive and comfortable. The unit was well stocked. The property was in a perfect location. It was close to the bridge to Sanibel and close to main highways. There were several good restaurants nearby. Our only complaint was the mattress in the master bedroom. I think it was a pillowtop that was ready to be replaced. I found it very uncomfortable and the only thing that will cause a hesitation in coming back.

Resort Harbour Properties does an excellent job of making you feel comfortable during your stay. They were attentive to any needs and the property was excellent! Our unit was clean and well organized as well as beautifully decorated. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

“This is a beautiful condo in a beautiful setting!”

We stay in this complex every year. Kelly and Chris are always great to deal with. The grounds are immaculate, the pool is perfect and clean, and the condos are great. The complex is 4 minutes from a Publix grocery store and a very cool outlet mall. If you want to go to the beach you can cross the bridge and be on Sanibel in minutes or go the other direction to get to Ft. Meyers beach, both are beautiful. We love the area and hope to one day live there. I look forward to many more vacations at Resort Harbour!

“Description of condo's view rather misleading”

Reviews are important to read before you go away, so I hope this gives a true picture of this condo and the service from Resort Harbour Properties for future renters. I am a wheelchair user and contacted RHP about a shower chair being made available in the condo. Initially, they expected me to fund the rental of this, until I queried this under the american with Disabilities act. So, they did provide me with a really good shower chair which was in the condo when I arrived as RHP knew I was a wheelchair user, I was surprised they didn't warn me about the 30inch high bed, the high dining table and the high balcony table. I ended up having to eat my meals on a small coffee table as this was the only low table and my husband had the high one, hardly an intimate meal! We didn't hear anything from RHP throughout our stay, a courtesy call to see how I was managing would have been nice. When I went to ask for a late check out, still no one asked how I had managed. The condo was extremely clean, very spacious and nicely decorated. There was everything you needed and even a cool bag, deck chairs and fishing nets. They had nice kitchen equipment, including a really useful smaller table top oven if you didn't need to use the larger one. The tumble dryer/washer were great and tucked away behind a small cupboard. Plenty of wardrobe space/hangers, but no full length mirror, which was a nuisance when getting ready. The extremely high bed, which I had a lot of difficultly getting in and out of had a padded bottom sheet that didn't really fit such a deep bed, making it worse. View disappointing, as a third of the balcony faced the back of the hotel/roof with ugly air conditioning units on top making a dreadful noise 24/7, so I question the luxury category. Rest of the views great apart from being overlooked by another condo's window to the balcony side. Only one disabled people's car parking space - difficulty when another disabled driver arrived and no pool hoist.

“Fabulous condo!”

Close to everything we wanted to do or see, Sanibel, Captiva, FMB, JetBlue Park... spent a good deal of time at the pool as well. Roughly 20 minutes from the airport. Condo was fantastic, which was a concern of ours. Thought the weekly cost to stay here was a little expensive, but when compared against staying in a hotel for 10 days, this was a good deal. Would definitely stay in this condo again. Very clean, updated, great view! Couple small cosmetic issues (light bulb out, etc.) that we informed mgmt. about, no big deal though. Only complaint was a couple cool windy days(early March), other than that, it was a great vacation! We ate/drank next door at the "Cove" and "Cabana", a little pricey, also took advantage of the kitchen and cooked a little. If your plan is to visit the beaches in Sanibel and Captiva, go early, parking is limited on certain beaches...there is always the side of the road to pull over after the causeway. We like Fort Myers Beach and the pier...
