Description

The estate consists of a large farmhouse which has been lovingly restored and cleverly divided into five spacious apartments, each on two floors and each with their own private garden complete with table and chairs for dining al fresco. In a sunny position in the grounds below the farmhouse is a swimming pool (12m x 6m), the perfect spot for relaxing whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity. From all corners of the estate there are lovely views of the countryside and olive groves set in the terraced land so typical of this area. Furnished in classic Tuscan style, Cassiopea Co apartment is very comfortable. It is fitted with all modern comforts whilst retaining many original characteristics such as beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. The ground floor of the apartment consists of a pretty living room, which opens directly onto the garden, and is furnished with two settees (one of which converts to a double bed on request to accommodate up to two extra persons), armchairs and satellite television. On the same floor is a fully equipped eat in country style kitchen, and a washroom with basin and w.c. Stairs lead from the living room to the first floor where there are two charming bedrooms and a shower room. The larger of the bedrooms has a four poster double bed, desk and armchairs, and the other has twin beds. The apartments private garden is perfect for relaxing or dining al fresco and there is plenty more space around the lovely swimming pool set in a secluded position in the grounds. In a separate building, the attentive owners have added a little reception and a laundry room with washing machine. There is also WiFi internet connection and a built in barbecue for guests use. Also on the estate is a separate private villa with its own swimming pool which is also rented (see Villa Cassiopea). Apartment Cassiopea Co is situated just less then 2km from the characteristic Tuscan town of Lamporecchio which has a selection of shops, restaurants and amenities, and is renowned locally for its famous 'Brigidini' wafer thin aniseed flavour biscuits. It's a great base for exploring the area. Vinci, famous as the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci and with an interesting museum to commemorate him is just 7km away and Florence, Pisa and the coast are easily reached by car or via train connections from nearby Empoli. Even Siena and San Gimignano are only just over an hours' drive away. How do damage deposits work?
