Description

The residence Tourandot spreads over twenty hectares and is composed of various rows of terraced cottages positioned around the estate. The cottages are all on the ground floor and each opens onto its own garden area. Tourandot A2 is situated close to the swimming pool and is comfortably furnished in simple homely country style. It consists of a living room with kitchen area and dining table and chairs, a bedroom with double bed, a further smaller bedroom with a single bed and sofa bed which can convert to another single bed if required, and a shower room. The cottage is equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, safe deposit box, telephone (for outgoing calls) and opens directly onto its own a garden terrace which is furnished with table, chairs and barbecue, a pretty spot for relaxing or dining al fresco. The swimming pool (14m x 6m), perfect for a cooling dip, enjoys a lovely view of the valley and verdant meadows bordered by wood land beyond. There is also a communal laundry room with washing machine and dryer for guests use, a children's play area and parking is within the grounds. Although immersed in the countryside the estate is just 6 km from the lovely walled town of Lucca which is a joy to explore in itself and has a selection of shops and restaurants. There are excellent motorway and rail links to other main towns so jewels of Tuscany such as Pisa and Florence to name but a few are within easy reach. The pretty coastline of Versilia with its stretches of sandy beach is just 20 kms away, and a visit to San Gimignano or Siena is a lovely day trip out. *Note: Gas, electricity, linen (Euro 8 per person), telephone calls, and laundry facilities are not included in the rental price and are all payable locally directly to the owner according to consumption/use. Cots and admission of pets should be requested in advance and are also payable locally. We have never received these kind of complaints by many clients who stayed in that area of the Residence, but if it had happened in a particularly dry period it would have been sufficient to tell us and pour some water. How do damage deposits work?
