Great Escape is located on a quiet cove in Cayman Kai merely a short walk from Rum Point Beach.

This sprawling villa consists of the main house, with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, plus an optional 1 bedroom, 1 bath guest cottage. Renting both the villa and cottage gives guests two superb master king suites to choose from, plus additional king and queen guest bedrooms.

With a large, freshwater swimming pool, barefoot sandy beach, and spacious interiors, Great Escape is a fantastic property for your island getaway.

***Great Escape's Sleeping Arrangements***

-- Oceanfront Master Suite: Large suite with a king bed, two chairs, a TV, a door to the screened porch, and an ensuite bath with a walk-in shower

Great Escape's interiors are clean and modern with cool tile floors and modern decor. Plenty of windows and sliding glass doors open onto the pool deck and fill the home with natural light and gorgeous views. On the occasional lazy day, guests can relax across the large, beachfront screened porch with comfortable seating, or play a friendly game of ping pong without losing the breeze or ocean views.

A gourmet kitchen sits just off of the front porch and comes equipped with granite countertops, island breakfast bar with stool seating, and a full range of modern appliances. Cookware, dishware, cutlery, and coffeemaker are all provided.

Boasting one of the largest residential swimming pools in Cayman Kai, Great Escape's outdoor amenities are top-notch. The pool features a built-in tabletop with submerged bar seating and an umbrella for shade. Optional pool heat is available at $250 per week.

The pool deck overlooks the tranquil cove and is lined with chaise lounges, patio umbrellas, and plush patio sofas. Guests can enjoy alfresco dining under the stars by the pool deck, or under the roofed cabana by the waterfront. With its own private pier, guests can dock boat rentals and jet skis in the backyard, or hire a private boat charter to pick them up right off the dock.

With its spacious interiors and stellar outdoor amenities, Great Escape is the perfect vacation villa for large family vacations or multiple couples on a tropical getaway.

*Notes:

1) A Cleaning Fee may be required due to enhanced cleaning, sanitation, and inspection protocols.

2) Additional Silver Thatch tandem kayaks and stand up paddleboards (SUPs) available for discounted rental. Signed waiver and 5 day minimum required with 6th and 7th day free: US$39 per day per kayak/SUP ($195 per week/each). Paddles included.

***Deposit & Payment Schedule***

-- For bookings made outside of 60 days prior to arrival, a 50% deposit (of rent only) is due in order to confirm your booking. The remaining 50% balance plus taxes and fees is due 60 days prior to arrival.

-- For arrivals within 60 days, the entire balance is due in order to confirm your booking.

***Villa Cleaning & Sanitation***

-- We're committed to the health and safety of all our guests and have adopted enhanced cleaning safeguards to suppress the spread of COVID-19. All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival using health agency-approved cleaners and disinfectants. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.

-- Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival on-island.

***Cancellation Policy***

RELAXED CANCELLATION POLICY ON ALL BOOKINGS MADE AFTER MARCH 14, 2020.

1). Once guests signed rental contract is confirmed with 50% (of rent) deposit, should guest cancel in writing prior to 60 days of arrival, half of the initial deposit (25% of rent) will be refunded to the card on file, less a 3.50% processing/admin fee. Should villa owner be able to replace the reservation in whole or in part, the (prorated) un-refunded balance of the initial deposit will be returned less any re-booking costs incurred. Should the owner not be able to replace the reservation, the balance of the initial deposit is forfeited.

PANDEMIC/EPIDEMIC EXCEPTION: Should a declared Pandemic or Epidemic prevent reasonable travel options to the destination, the guest may cancel and the entire initial deposit will be refunded, less a processing/admin fee of 3.50%.

All villa guests must check-in at our Silver Thatch Welcome Center located mid-island at 846 Frank Sound Road. Conveniently located en route to over 90% of our villas, we're the bright pink and white building on your right--you can't miss us! Our hospitality staff will be on hand to greet you and answer any questions about your villa, or the island in general. You'll also have the chance to check out your free snorkel gear, baby equipment, or other convenience items (e.g. Apple TVs, Bluetooth speakers, baby equipment and more). In addition, you'll receive our Silver Thatch member card for savings of up to 10% at select restaurants, charter operators, and water sports providers. Remember to stop by first en route to your villa!

How do damage deposits work?

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
