- Very Good
A newly built top floor unit nicely furnished in ' Ikea' style. Clean & tidy. Roof patio with BBQ was excellent. Lots of stairs, effectively the 5th floor. Bedrooms good, kitchen facilities excellent. To sleep more than 4 you need to use the foldaway bed in the main living area. This is comfortable but there are no curtains or blinds in this area & the property is overlooked . This may be a big issue for some people. Thankfully for us the apartment opposite was unoccupied during our stay so not an problem but would have been a difficult otherwise. Parking is restricted but public transport good & lots of Taxis in nearby Massachusetts ave. A quiet residential area. Go there.
“Fantastic Stay in an Outstanding apartment”
Stayed here for 10 nights in March, travelled over from Ireland. Apartment was absolutely fantastic, cleaned to an exceptionally high standard, fresh linen provided, and in an absolutely outstanding location. The landlord was extremely helpful with the booking process, providing directions, and got an email the day before we arrived with all last minute information such as codes for doors etc... Apartment was provided with a folder containing details of what the best things to do in Boston are. All round I couldn't rate this any higher - A must stay for anyone looking a great convenient location in south end.
“surprised with great value”
Great location, very clean and comfortable. Would definitely use this service again. Lots of stairs but we were aware before our rental.
The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures. We had a nice surprise when we figured the kitchen have all the appliances we need to prepare and have meals. The location could not be better and we were able to go to any place we wanted from there, taking the Silver Line, even at night. We enjoyed our stay despite having some setbacks on our first night (problem in one of the smoke detectors, there weren't towels and blankets enough for six people, and two sofa bed slats were missing), but we were glad the next day all the issues were resolved immediately. The only dissatisfaction was the parking spot, because every night but one, there was a car parked in our spot, forcing us to park in front of the entrance gate, since there wasn't another spot available. Maybe this is a point to be improved, especially because there is an additional charge just for it. But, in general, we have nothing to complain about, and certainly would rent the apartment again in a next stay in Boston.
“Functional apartment - disinterested management”
The best part of this stay was having a spacious two bedroom unit, large kitchen and great roof top patio with BBQ. The apartment is on the 5th and 6th floors so lots of steps! The neighborhood has sufficient restaurant choices and is close to museum district and downtown. The apartment shows wear and tear and isn't cared for as nicely as owner operated places we have stayed. We had a 4:00 check-in but the housekeeper didn't leave until after 5:30. Communications with management by email and voice message in advance of the stay asking for removal of down bedding were unanswered and the down quilt was not removed. An email about the room not being ready also was unanswered. I would rent from this company again but only after exploring other options.
“Enjoyed this comfortable modern apartment in a great location”
Professionally managed apartment - we had no complaints with anything. We were contacted well ahead of time with everything we needed to know for a trouble free check-in. We liked the apartment which had a spacious light airy living room and a clean modern look to it. Beautifully equipped kitchen with 'top of the range' cooking facilities and marble bench tops. Good washing machine and drier. Great location - it's within walking distance to good restaurants in Washington & Tremont Streets. Is in a pretty street of old brownstone apartments. What I liked best was the spacious living area, the beautiful kitchen and the roof top terrace. What I liked least was the three flights of stairs (36 steps) we had to climb to reach our unit. (It kept us fit!!) Also, I would have liked a few more paintings or photographs on the walls which looked a bit bare and minimalist. However, the photos & paintings that were there really suited the modern clean lines of the apartment.
... for a stay of a couple of days or longer. Clean, quiet, nice neighbourhood. We liked it and would definitely return...
“Baseball road trip”
This place was great! Myself and two friends travelled to Boston (from Toronto) to see the Jays get beaten by the Red Sox lol. As far as the accomodations, the place was absolutely ideal for the three of us and in a great (and what appeared to be) safe location. There was a market within walking distance (approx. 10 mins) which had anything we needed to fill the fridge for our stay. The unit itself was bright and clean and had all the comforts of home. The open concept common area was ideal for socializing while the bedrooms were downstairs if you wanted to sleep and the others were still up. The highlight of our stay there was having a rooftop patio/terrace equipped with a bbq and table and chairs. Perfect for a rooftop bbq. The view was great from the top of the building so don't forget your camera. The neighbourhood was also fairly quiet. As far as what's around, there's a great diner right on the corner which was great for breakfast...bring your appetite! It was about a half hour walk to Fenway Park and about a 5 or 10 minute cab ride to downtown. While we were there we had no need to contact the owners for assistance so I can't speak to that however everything else ran very smoothly. Getting into the apartment was easy with the access codes we were given. The only thing I can critique is the walk up to the unit (3 flights I think) is pretty steep. But that didn't matter at all really, our stay was fantastic, we'd stay there again if we're ever back in Boston and would recommend it to anyone who is visiting. Have a great trip, and book this place!!!
“Modern apartment good location”
Keyless access worked well only draw back was that there are three flights of steep stairs to gain access to the apartment. Apartment was very clean. One disadvantage is that beds are against one wall - very difficult for making beds. We moved the bed away from the wall to make life easier!! Very good location. Close to some good restaurants and very convenient for public transport.
This apartment is brand new, has many amenities, and is walking distance to some restaurants. Some reviews complained about not enough TV channels, but the property managers must have upgraded this, because there was a standard Comcast selection when we were there. There are a few breakfast places within 3 blocks. One of the city's bike rental locations is about 4 blocks away, which was a fun way to see Boston. We were pleased to find 2 pack'n'plays in a closet, but had already hauled ours out. The only downside to this apartment (besides maybe only having one full bathroom) is that there are 3 sets of very steep and narrow stairs to get to the apartment, and no elevator. This is not for the elderly or those in poor shape. Also, parking is tricky at night, so I'd recommend booking one of the spots behind the apartment before you get there.
