“Dene's review of Apartment Rental in Rome City, Historic Center”
We loved the comfort and convenience of the property. Also the property owner gave us several restaurant recommendations that were awesome as well as a wonderful walking tour. The convenience to various sites and the metro station. Easy access to any of the sites. Lots of restaurants and sightseeing options.
“Kimberly's review of Palatina”
This property is fabulous. The location was excellent. The view of the Colosseum was sublime. The balcony was delightful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay at Palatina! It's difficult to choose one thing. The balcony really made it lovely. Everything was very comfortable. We really appreciated the magnificent view of the Colosseum. It was great being so close to the Metro. The view of the Colosseum and the close proximity to the Metro station.
“Barbara's review of Palatina”
Very good. Proximity to historic sites, metro, and taxi stands. The apartment was also very comfortable. The ambiance of the surrounding neighborhoods.
“John's review of Palatina”
The stay at Palatina was far better than we expected, even after reading the positive reviews. Located within a block of the Coliseum it was the perfect location for a stay in Rome for a party of 5. Highly recommended. The apartment was clean, well equipped (DVDs, books), and the TV and WiFi worked well. The patio was a delightful and welcome feature. A well-stocked market was just across the street. All of ancient Rome is within walking distance.
“Sherry's review of Palatina”
We had a great stay at Palatina. It was amazing to look out the bedroom windows and see the Colosseum. It was very handy to have a market literally across the street from our property as well as 4 restaurants on the block, as well as a dozen other eating establishments within a 5-minute walk. A metro station was approximately 200 yards from the property, so you could get around Rome almost effortlessly. There were also bus and taxi stops as well as a currency exchange office within 25 yards of the property. It offered anything you needed, especially if you wanted a quiet day around the property.
“Cindy's review of Palatina”
It was nice not being in a hotel. The apartment was well-appointed and in a good location near the Coloseum. Being close to the Coloseum. Nice neighborhood; good restaurants close by and a store across the street.
“Susan's review of Palatina”
We had a fantastic time in this property. It had everything we needed. Plenty of space. The location is next to the Colloseum. There are grocery store across the road, plenty of good restaurants nearby, and the Metro is minutes away. The location is great for sightseeing as the Metro is nearby and the taxi is around the corner. The patio is lovely. It was nice to be able to sit outside for a drink or dinner. Grocery store across the road, metro station nearby, taxis around the corner, and the big bonus of the Colloseum right outside the door.
“Sharon 's review of Palatina”
Overall experience was positive. We had a great time in Roma and the property and its management only added to the experience. Convenience to the older historic parts of Rome as well as other facilities. The Colosseum and the Forum. And the local markets.
“Denise's review of Palatina”
Overall we had a wonderful time. The villa is located close to taxis, grocery store, restaurants, and is practically across the street from the Colisseum for a grand view. It was comfortable and roomy with all the amenities we needed. The location was great. We thought first floor meant ground level but it was up one flight. This might matter to those who have a harder time walking. One night we heard the people upstairs--hard wood floors with no insulation between us and them. But that was one night and it didn't last long. A grocery store was across the street. The taxi stand which we used frequently was 500 feet from the door. Plenty of restaurants within a few blocks. There is a produce market every morning just a few blocks away. A tobacco shop for metro/bus tickets was one door away. The Colisseum was right across the street practically, a grand view to every day in Rome. The metro and bus stops were close as well. We could get a gelato across the street, and fresh bread, pastry and salami, cured meats within a few blocks.
“Dolores's review of Palatina”
Good. Very convenient to all our outings. The location. It wasn't very well-equipped. The restaurants were within walking distance. The buses and metro were so close.
