“A blessing from God.”

My Husband and i along with our friends are in the prosse of planing our trip for next year. we had a wnoderful time would like to thank you all for making it happen. It was my husbands birthday and he said it was the best. Again thank you from the Richardsons.

“The staff at Railey's made up for the problems we experienced.”

The house was very nice however it is not be kept up. The heat went out on the side of the house where the master bedrooms are located. We traveled with a baby so we need the heat (without the baby we would still need the heat). The staff worked very hard to restore the heat and they did. The shower in the master could use some work. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Kathleen's crossing. Next year we look to stay in another house that has a indoor pool ( In 2009 we stayed in a house with a pool).

“We had a wonderful, memorable time.”

All went well this year with Kathleen's Crossing. Only had a problem with having one charcoal grill. The weather was much better also than last year in the same week.

We loved Kathleens Crossing. The home is spacious and has wonderful acoustics. Loved the theatre and pool room. Our only disappointment was the size of the pool. The online picture is deceiving.

“Paradise Found!”

Kathleen's Crossing is an amazing lakefront home that makes you feel pampered from the moment you walk through the front door! The attention to detail in this home is wonderful and the accomdations are above what we expected. Finding a home with 5 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms is a bonus, as well as the fact that everything (with the exception of one upstairs master bedroom) is located on the same floor. The fact that Kathleen's Crossing has an amazing theatre room was a huge bonus that topped off our fantastic "girls getaway" weekend!

We had a wonderful time and we love the house. The house was very clean, but we had to clean the back screen porch.

“Very nice house, but needs some maintenance.”

We loved the layout of this house and the location. The bedrooms were also decorated very nicely and the home layout was nice. The mattresses were very comfortable, as was the bedding. We especially liked the movie room. Unfortunately the microwave wasn't working, nor was one of the front burners on the stove. And the coffee makers were very slow, the pots and pans were awful. It took a very long time to get hot water in the kitchen (Which may have been due to the inclimate weather conditions outside.)Also the master bedroom sink is so high I could barely reach it to brush my teeth. And there wasn't a closet in the master bedroom. Overall it was a very nice and comfortable house, but it has a few issues the homeowners need to address.

“Something for everyone!”

Our week's stay at Kathleen's Crossing was the very best vacation we ever had at Deep Creek Lake. We always bring our own pontoon boat so that our sons and their families can knee board and tube but we grandparents don't always want to spend all day on the water. Having the swimming pool allowed us to stay back and relax and for several afternoons, have one or two of the grandchildren spend special time just with us. Evenings proved even more spectacular as we spent hours around the fire pit. No one got bored! Thanks for opening your home for our enjoyment. Looking forward to next summer. The Warntz's
