Grand Caribbean is a three story property located in the quiet Crystal beach area of Destin. The property is located right across the street from the dedicated beach access and is only a short stroll to the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Most of the rooms at Grand Caribbean offer restricted views of the Gulf of Mexico off of your private living room balcony. This property does not have elevators but does have stairs on each side of the building and Grand Caribbean east offers complimentary high speed internet in each room. Grand Caribbean is also only minutes from great local restaurants and shopping and right down the street from the Crab Trap restaurant.

GE105 is a beautiful 1-bed, 1-bath poolside ground floor condo, located across the street from the beach. This carpeted unit sleeps 6, with a queen size bed in the master bedroom, twin bunks in the recessed hallway, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. “Great location, Great Unit”

Reviewed 14 Apr 2017

This unit is well equipped and is in a great location. It opens right up to the pool which some people may not like but with our kids being at the age where they like to swim all the time, it was perfect. The beach was right across the street and we could literally park 10 feet from our back door. Perfect for us!

this place is great all the comforts of home every thing you need is there and just walk across the street to the beach. within a short drive to all local resturants and events. very clean and well maintained. pool cleaned every day.we will use this property again also within our budget you might want to check it out wont be disappointed

“Nice Stay”

Reviewed 2 Jul 2015

We have been visiting Destin for 10+ years and always stay in the GCE, but not always in the same unit. Unit #105 has been updated and is nicely designed. It has a its own little entrance to the pool, so no pool code to memorize!!! The unit was clean and everything was in working order. The only thing I noticed is the bed really is not a queen size, but more of a full size. The frig was set to a level 7, but did not notice until after the yogurts and fruit froze. The kitchen could use a few additions. We did not have a cutting board or a strainer. There also was not any crab crackers or large platters. We do eat most meals out, but do cook one or two nights with fresh seafood. Overall, it was a great place to call home for a week.

“It was nice”

Reviewed 18 Jun 2015

This was our 3rd time staying at the Grand Caribbean but first time in 105. It was nice being so close to the pool and having that easy access. We were disappointed with the bathroom clogging, the kitchen was a little short of supplies that we needed like a decent can opener and little things like that. The furniture should probably be replaced. It didn't feel clean. So with the positives and negatives, I will say it was nice. We will probably go with the room we've stayed in, in the past.

“Pleasant stay”

We feel the couch could be replaced. It is very soft and uncomfortable. The drapes are the original and could be replaced. The clothes dryer when first turned on sounds like metal against metal. Could be checked.

“Not The Best”

Reviewed 15 Aug 2013

This was the 4th time we have stayed at the Grand Caribbean and the 2nd time we have stayed in room 105. This was the most disappointing stay that we have ever had. The bathroom has mildew around the shower, the coffe pot would take an hour to brew after you rigged it up, the back door knob would get stuck, and the hedges on the back porch needed to be cut. We had one night where the only toilet was clogged up and the plunger we had was not working. When I called to see if we could get someone out to fix it I was told to use the restrooms out by the pool which were also clogged. Finally, we were given a code to go to the room next door that was empty so we could use the restroom.

“Wonderful time in #105 at Grand Caribbean East”

Reviewed 28 May 2013

We had previously stayed in #207 I think it was but this time I wanted a 1st floor due to recent surgery I had. Well it was a wonder pick for #105. The mattresses were wonderul even on the bunk beds in the hall. We loved being able to just walk out our door to the pool area. The couch was very comfortable. It was a wonderful experience and we will try to get this condo again on our next visit in September. We loved it.

“Even during Tropical Storm Debby, it was wonderful!”

Reviewed 4 Jul 2012

We thought we would not like the bottom floor without a balcony view, but with 3 kids, it turned out to be the perfect condo. The bush made it more private than others, and the pool access was a step away! The condo isn't fancy & could use some small acccessories to help with a beach stay, but was fine for the price. The condo had a stain on the carpet, and needs somewhere to store clothes for the guests on the bunks and pull out sofa, and the "surround sound" was not functioning,, but other than that, stay was perfect! We used the kitchen for several quick meals, and the washer/dryer was essential! Destin took up for any of the problems we had! Absolutely beautiful, quiet, perfect vacation spot!

“Wonderfully relaxing”

Reviewed 22 Sep 2010

There were no batteries in any of the 4 remotes in the unit. That was a first, having to buy your own batteries! Truthfully though, the location was excellent and the grounds were immaculate.
