Description
Truly amazing modern cabin inside the Santa Fe national forest just 20 minutes from the plaza.
Situated on a creek, this cabin affords the best in luxury, privacy and that mountain experience that you just cant find anywhere else in Santa Fe.
If you are into hiking, mountain biking, birding or just relaxing in the mountains next to a creek then this place is for you! You can hike, bike or cross country ski right out the front door and go for miles.
Many of Santa Fe's greatest trails surround this home and access is very quick and easy from the cabin.
There is also a great hot tub that sits right on the creek!
You will feel like you are miles away from everything, but shopping, restaurants, the opera and everything else Santa Fe has to offer is 20 minutes or less away.
The main cabin sleeps 6 and there is a detached guest studio for parties of six or more available, or if requested.
The first guest bedroom has the option of two twin XL beds or a king, please let me know which you prefer.
The cabin does have wifi internet but its only 1.5mbs - ok for streaming movies but it can get slow if too many people are using it.
Pets are allowed but a pet fee will apply - please let me know if you intend on bringing a pet.
There is a 2 mile dirt road to the home from the pavement, so a four wheel drive is needed in the winter incase of snow. There is a section of road that is quite bumpy but nothing a normal car can't handle (except in the winter when a 4x4 is required)
If you have been to Santa Fe before, come to the mountains this time!
If you have never been here, you couldn't ask for a better place to start you Santa Fe experience!

The road can be a little challenging for some people because of a bumpy stretch of about a third of a mile long, and it can get a little slick after a heavy rain - this is why it's always more comfortable to have an SUV if possible. “Perfect Week”
My husband and I spend a week with our grown children in Santa Fe. This lovely cabin was the perfect place to stay. Cool, thoughtfully furnished, and with the sound of a babbling brook just outside the front door it was the perfect place to come back to after hiking and sightseeing. Great amenities included a good washer/dryer and a nice kitchen. The cabin is conveniently located to both Santa Fe places north--Georgia O'Keefe country, amazing ruins, etc. Brian couldn't have been more helpful, he was a super attentive host!
