Description

Our cozy Abode On The Sea has an ENORMOUS BEACH & SUN ALL DAY. STUNNING VIEWS of Mt. Rainier, Olympics, Sound and Eagle Harbor. Five minutes car/bus to ferry and downtown Winslow or walk. You are renting a high quality entire lower level suite that has a separate entrance and is so very private and soundproof that usually you won't hear us and we won't hear you. Your suite is approximately 700 sq. ft. and consists of a spacious separate bedroom with a roomy walk-in closet; living room with a sofa group, TV cabinet and a woodstove; a good sized kitchen with a dining table that can sit 6 people; a full bath. You have a queen bed in the separate bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for comfortable sleeping of 4 adults. If you need to fit in some children there is also a fold-out full size bed and a fold-out baby crib. Your waterfront beach suite is within the Wing Point Community, which is one of the most established neighborhoods on Bainbridge Island centered around Bainbridge's only 18 hole golf course. You have a nice lawn outside your double french doors that has a fantastic view of both Mount Rainier, the Olympic Mountains, the Sound with ships passing by as far as the eye can see and Eagle Harbor with the ferry and lots of boats jetting in and out. A 50 step staircase leads to your sandy beach where you can watch the gorgeous sunset over the Olympics from the comfortable beach furniture while you are enjoying your BBQ meal or borrow our kayaks for a ride. After dark you can warm yourself in front or our beach fireplace. Or you can walk on the large beach for miles at low tide including to the ferry or downtown and play on the sandy beach that goes out over 300 yards at low tide so you can almost touch the ferry when it passes by! With its South facing exposure you have sun virtually the entire day. It's a very cozy, light and secure suite with its own private entrance at the lower level of a gorgeous house where the owners live off and on. You can light up the woodstove, watch any of over 200 channels on DirecTV satellite, record any program on your DVR for easy viewing at your own convenience, order your own Pay-Per-View movie, watch a movie on the VCR or DVD, listen to a music CD on the boombox or snuggle up with a good book (we have a good inventory of each item).You can always stay in touch through the wireless fast broadband internet access and nationwide free telephone. Cook a gourmet meal on the gas stove (or the BBQ outside) in the large kitchen with its own expandable dining table that can sit up to 6 people that can also be used for your office needs. You can drive in 4 minutes or walk 25 minutes to charming downtown Winslow and the ferry, take a bus to 5 morning ferries and back from 5 evening ferries or use our 10-speed bike. This is an ideal spot for relaxing, visit with friends and family, explore our beautiful island including use as a stop during boating, live while remodeling or looking for a house. Or use our suite as a cozy base for a Seattle business or social visit since it is within very convenient distance to the ferry as many daily commuters on our island do since they can combine a city work life with great island home life. You can stay for a couple of nights or an extended stay and one complimentary breakfast food will be waiting for you in your suite when you arrive.

How do damage deposits work?
