“Awesome!!”

Check in was easy. Place was big and clean. Drop off at the ski hill is easy if you have someone not skiing. Then at the end of the day you can ski back very close to the condo on "home run" trail. Just stay right the whole way. Cross country ski runs are right off the back of the condo, just clip and go! Then hit the hot tub. Big enough for 4 or 5 adult males. Check out was easy. Great trip!!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Note there is a bonus bedroom at the basement level with twin bunks; it's too spartan to call it a "5th bedroom" and gets cold at night; but it's a great spot to throw the kids. The neighbors are friendly & helpful with the local tricks (how to ski from Blackcomb to the unit, etc.). Great value considering all you get. We stayed with 8 adults, granted we are all close friends, but we never felt cramped. A free bus comes every 15 minutes or so to take you to the village, as the sidewalks to the village become difficult in snowy conditions. Note the unit's laundry facilities are in a bedroom closet. Read the checkout process for Superior Properties before the last day, it's pretty strict: examples; all dishes must be cleaned & put away, towels in the dryer, etc. Not a problem if your with a group where everyone is willing to "pitch in" on the last day.

“A nice 4 bedroom condo.”

Our stay in the Forest Creek #9 was satisfactory. We have been coming to Whistler and renting condos yearly for over a decade now. This isn't the nicest place we have stayed, but the price was right especially for a 4 bedroom. Pros: - Quiet Location on the free bus route. - Hot tub was big and hot. - 3 of the 4 official bedrooms are roomy. A bonus 5th bedroom (big closet) on the ground floor has a bunk bed in it. - Three full bathrooms. - Standard Whistler décor and furnishings. - New kitchen appliances. Cons: - Bedroom with queen bed upstairs is shoehorned into a room with a sloping ceiling. You can only get into bed from one side. - Pillows on the bed were horrible. Some were like cotton balls stuffed in a sack. - Need more towels to account for the trips to the hot tub. - Ladder to main floor bunk bed is unstable and completely vertical. We had one kid take a tumble. - No oven mitts in the kitchen. - No ice maker or ice cube trays. - Unit has a two car garage, but getting two cars in is tight. There are aprox 12 bikes of the property owners hanging on the walls. - Need to post address and phone number of the unit on the phone. Makes it hard to order pizza or call 911 in an emergency. - Random alarm would go off for a few minutes in one of the property owners locked cabinets every morning about 8:45am. Notice a previous comment mentioned this and it still has not been taken care of. - Bedrooms could use some alarm clocks.

Response from the manager Dear Chris, Thank-you very much for your recent review. We have finished working through your comments and wanted to provide you with a quick update. We have removed all the older pillows from the property and added brand new high end pillows to replace them. We have also added oven mitts and ice cube trays to the kitchen inventory, additional alarm clocks for the bedrooms and re-secured the bunk bed ladder. We have also spoken to housekeeping about leaving more additional towels. We do try to advertise and explain at check-in that the private garage is only large enough for one car as Forest Creek does have ample outdoor visitor parking located directly across from this unit. I would be delighted to tell you that the alarm clock in the owner closet has been found but unfortunately after three different search and recover attempts, we remain unsuccessful. We will however not give up our attempts to locate this elusive alarm and have another search mission planned for later this week. Thank-you again for providing fair and detailed comments that help us in making this property better. We hope to have an opportunity to welcome you back again sometime soon. “The ultimate group vacation house.”

Forest Creek has everything going for it when it comes to great lodging in Whistler. An easy,short, free shuttle ride to the village. All the necessities required to cook a big meal (utensil wise) which is a great option rather than going out to eat at every meal; especially with larger groups getting a table can take time. A two car garage plus visitor parking, most hotels in Whistler charge $20 a vehicle per night. It's clean and well kept the beds are comfortable. A private hot tub is always a win, just make sure to keep the water levels up or it takes forever to heat up! Considering the cost of a hotel in Whistler this property is fantastic budget wise and I would definitely recommend it to others considering a Whistler Getaway.

“Enjoyable stay but a few small problems.”

Me and my 8 friends had a blast. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. We loved forest creek. It had a great feel and look. The only thing I say that was a small problem was, that there wasn't enough garbage bags to last the hole 4 days we made it work with grocery bags. There was 3 stake knives for 8 people. And every morning in a locked green cabinet by the stairs there was a alarm that would go off every morning at about 9 for two minutes. It woulds wake the hole house. But over all we really did enjoy staying a forest creek. Love having a fully stocked kitchen, heated floors and the hot tub. We are planing on coming back for the winter.
