“Great ski-in, ski-out location”
This one bedroom, two bath condo was perfect for our week long trip. It was just two of us, but there is also a very comfortable murphy bed in the living room. It was nice to be able to hit the slopes right from the hotel. Having the gas fireplace and washer/dryer was also wonderful after a long day. You are very close to the upper village, although the fastest way to walk there is on the slope. We never walked to the main village, but I was told it was only about a 5 minute walk. There was always convenient parking at the main village, and it was just a very short drive away. I thought it was a good combination of not too expensive, yet nice.
“Excellent Ski in /out location”
We stayed at Woodrun #618 for three nights. We found the unit to be clean and comfortable. We preferred Woodrun over the aspens - which we stayed at last year. I hope we will be back next year.
“This accommodation was both comfortable and convenient”
We loved our stay at Woodrun 618, the reception girls were lovely and helpful, the accommodation was comfortable, with all that we needed and the location was fantastic, close to both skiing and village. We would definitely return.
“Quite Good, there were a few minor issues”
Overall my wife and I were very pleased. The room and amenities were as described. The room was clean, smelled fresh, nicely furnished and met all our expectations. The two areas we would like to see improvement: 1st. The elevators at Woodrun. They are slow to begin with, but we were burden by one of them being closed for maintenance. This was pretty inconvenient since we were on the 6th floor. 2nd. The checkout process did not specifically state what to do. So we drove to the 'office' to checkout. Come to find out we could have simply called. Not really a big deal, but it would have been nice to know.
This was my second stay in this unit in the past 2 years and I was not disappointed with the cleanliness, quality appointments, and quiet environment. I will definitely be staying here again.
“Cozy upgraded condo 10 min walk to the main village”
My husband and I stayed in room #618 in June 2013 and we highly recommend it. Both bathrooms and the kitchen are upgraded nicely and we loved the open concept layout. We liked the option of being able to eat breakfast in our pj's before going out for the day and being able to make a nice dinner at home (it really felt like our home) after those long days out that we did not feel like going out at night. It is a 10 min walk to the main village which although very close sometimes felt far if you just needed to pick something up (ie. groceries, wine). The outdoor hot tub and pool were great too. We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it.
“Great experience at Woodrun #618”
We were blown away by how nice this unit and the property were. The highlights: 1. Kitchen is totally remodeled and stocked to be able to cook awesome breakfasts before a day of skiing! 2. An elevator ride and short walk takes you to the ski locker on the 1st floor, which is super large, and is right next to the main door leading out onto the slopes. You could literally roll out of bed and be skiing within 3 minutes (if you skipped making breakfast in the awesome kitchen, which I do not recommend). 3. The living area is super cozy to hang out in after a long day of skiing. The beautiful, gas-powered stone fireplace just tops it off.. 4. Beds were very clean and comfortable, with extra blankets provided, in case you're a cold sleeper. Unit was very quiet at night (didn't hear any sound from other units or outside on any of the 3 nights we stayed). 5. Parking spot is included, is secured and super easy and convenient. Also, there are dollies right inside the door from the parking garage, which we were able to use to get everything from the car and into our room in one trip! Pretty sure I'll be staying in this unit again next year, as I'm afraid I've now been spoiled and anything else would be a disappointment..
“God is awesome! Winter Wonderland!”
Our agent was awesome and responded to my questions professionally and timely. We arrived with food in the fridge, snow on the ground and a beautiful condo well decorated and cozy. Ski in ski out was just what I got. The only reason I would not recommend the condo is because the master mattress was very uncomfortable (someone else mentioned in their guest book). Owners need to change it out or at the very least buy a memory foam topper.
Response from the manager Thank-you so much for your kind comments, it's great to hear you enjoyed your time here in Whistler. We also appreciate the constructive comments about the mattress and I would like to confirm that a brand new mattress and box spring has been ordered for this unit and will be in place by mid-January 2013. Thank-you again and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back sometime soon. Whistler Superior Properties
“A Good Stay”
The only feedback I have is check-in. If the check-in is right on premise rather than the property mgmt office down at main street, it would be better. The reason for it is that it is quite a distance between the two locations and there is a front desk at Woodrun. The front desk at Woodrun should be equipped/partnered to handle the check-in. It would be a problem though if the property is right near the management office.
“Very good one bedroom apartment in Whistler”
The apartment is very spacious and has two bathrooms. The electronic devices are a little bit old-fashioned but work well. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend the apartment!
