Who or what is The Grey Pearl? Could the photo of a boy and dog on display in this 1600-square foot condo provide a clue? Enter this pet-friendly abode and find yourself in a Great Room with tall loft ceilings and two huge windows that look out on the towering west rim of Moab Valley. A velvety sofa, loveseat and easy chair provide plenty of seating for your whole group. There is a cozy, gas-log fireplace in the corner and a huge, 48” LCD TV and Blu-Ray DVD player for full entertainment options.
Professional color photos of Canyonlands National Park adorn the walls of the dining area. It’s a pleasure to dine at the beautiful tile-inlaid, Mexican-style table that seats six, and there is seating for four at the nearby breakfast bar.
Cooks love the airy, U-shape kitchen with its over-the-sink window that faces down-valley to a glorious sunset view. High-end appliances include double-door refrigerator w/ water and ice dispenser, gas range, built-in microwave, coffee maker, and a coffee grinder. The pine cabinets are fully equipped w/cookware, dishes, common spices and utensils. As day cools into evening, you may decide to barbeque on the gas grill and dine at the picnic table on your private, gated patio.
The three bedrooms are outfitted with new, Mexican-style pine furniture. The Master suite has a massive King bed and a whole wall of west-facing windows. The artisan tapestry rug, 6-drawer dresser w/mirror and armoire w/42” flat-screen TV and Blu Ray DVD top off this lovely bedroom. The en suite Master bathroom has a carpeted dressing area, a dual-sink vanity with a wall-size mirror, a walk-in closet, and a tiled Roman shower with a sit-down bench. For privacy, there is a separate commode room.
The second bedroom has a 4-poster queen bed accompanied by log-style nightstands, 6-drawer dresser, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The third bedroom has two Twin beds and a 6-drawer double dresser, plus a 31” flat-screen TV. The hall bathroom with a full tub/shower is just steps from the second and third bedrooms.
Completing this condo home is a separate laundry room with heavy-duty, Kenmore washer/dryer. For your convenience, an interior door opens into the double car garage, where you’ll find a utility sink to make cleanup of muddy items a breeze. “great place for a family to stay”
This was a great place for our family to stay. We would definitely recommend for someone to stay. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and the house was clean and extremely nice. My only complaint would be not having more than one set of towels per person. I loved it and would absolutely stay here again. One of the nicest areas in the town of moab....

“Perfect for our family!”
This condo is the perfect place for our family of 4. With each child in their own bedroom, they only had to share a bathroom, so everyone got along. The unit is beautiful, clean and welcoming. Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus (they even provided sheets to use in case he wanted to go on the furniture). It is about a 10 min drive to Moab which is a bit inconvenient, but with all the space you have, it is well worth it. Everything in the kitchen is labeled so it is easy to find what you need. A steamer basket for vegies and a salad spinner would have been helpful, but otherwise the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!
“Why get a hotel room?”
For the price of a hotel room in Moab you can get 3 bedrooms and 2 bath. (Off season). This place was amazing! Plenty of room for kids, movies, and all of your gear in the garage. All in all this place is a steal. The only down side was that the carpets were starting to show wear and dirt in the high traffic areas, and there was no garage door opener. Grey pearl comes fully furnished, from plates and bowls, to sandwich bags and movies. What a great place to stay!
My wife and I and two dogs spent Valentine's weekend in Moab and stayed at Rim Village in "Grey Pearl". It was everything it was advertised as on Vrbo and in great shape. Check in was easy and we even received detailed and step by step directions on where, how, and what to expect during our stay. I'd highly recomend this unit to anyone with dogs or a large group and will stay at the "Grey Pearl" again soon.
“Very comfortable and well equipped unit - nice decor”
Our group of five adults stayed at the Grey Pearl over Thanksgiving weekend. The unit was beautifully decorated and very well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots and pans, mixing bowls, etc. Since we were cooking thanksgiving dinner, we brought along utensils, pots and pans, etc. but found we needed very little of what we brought. They had enough wine glasses 8 to 10 people and they even gave us a turkey pan, which was unexpected, and there were coffee filters, flour, sugar, salt, pepper and some spices in the unit. The beds in the master bedroom and the twin beds were very comfortable, but the four poster bed has an extremely firm mattress - too firm for some of the folks in our group. All in all, it was a great unit and I would definitely stay there again. Plenty of parking space, which was good as we had a trailer with atv's and three trucks. The large garage even had a rack for working on bicycles, which came in handy. Our only complaint is that some of the light bulbs were missing or burned out, and spare bulbs were not available. The Rim Village condos are about 3 miles south of town, but this was not a problem as we had vehicles. The views of the rim from this unit were great and the patio had a gas grill and large table with eight chairs. I would highly recommend this unit for others.
“Clean, great location, well thought out rental”
From start to finish, our two week stay at this vacation rental was perfect. We stayed in Moab to enjoy lots of different activities; including riding atvs. It was really helpful to have a large garage space as part of this rental. It made a huge difference to us, being able to store our mountain bikes, motorcycles, and gear in a safe place but not inside of our living quarters. We traveled from Maine for this rental and would absolutely stay there again.
“Traveling to Moab? This is the spot!!”
Booking the reservation was easy to do online & the photos of the unit were exactly as pictured. We had six adults in this unit. Q3 was quiet, clean, bright, comfortable and very spacious. We enjoyed being able to sit outside and use the barbecue as well as enjoy the views of the mountains from the huge picture windows in the living room. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed for the two dinners we did stay at home. Even though Rim Village is located five minutes outside of Moab, we found the location easy to navigate and did not mind the drive into town. There was plenty of storage and having a washer and dryer was really a nice addition to our stay to wash our clothes after biking each day. After a general consensus of all of us, I would say our only complaint was that the hot tub seemed broken and is not hot. I would definitely recommend this unit and we are definitely coming back to stay again next year for Outer-bike 2014!!!
Excellent condo for mountain bikers, there is bench and bike supports for washing and maintenance. There is a garden hose also. Location is close to Moab city and really quiete. If I go to Moab again, I would choose that condo again.
Excellent place to relax after a long day exploring
