“Just what we wanted!”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2015

Our stay in this wonderful little flat was exactly what we wanted to experience. Marc and Marie-Christine were wonderful land-lords and we really appreciated all the little touches that they provided for those that stay in this unit. Their advice and assistance was appreciated and helpful. We had everything that we could have needed (plus more) and felt very comfortable and pleased with our stay. The location is perfect for getting around and we found ourselves walking to most locations even in the winter. We even found a favorite little café (St. Regis Café) that we found ourselves at quite often. Don't hesitate to reserve this property, you won't regret it!

“Simply Perfect again!”

I loved staying here so much the first time I visited Paris that I scheduled my second trip around the availability of this studio. The stunning view, central location, great amenities, charming and helpful hosts along with a nice price cannot be beat. I could not imagine staying anywhere else while in Paris and will certainly return here again next visit.

“A Great Value”

Reviewed 9 Jan 2014

This lovely apartment has been described so accurately by previous visitors that it is hard to know what more to say other than you should book! It is an incredible value because of the high level of customer service provided by of the owners, the quality of the amenities and furnishings, and the unique location, which you will love. We stayed for six days before/after New Year's Eve and chose this area for exploring the neighborhoods, the markets, and the museums and churches. We walked everywhere, and we also got a five-day Batobus pass for a few Euro more than a day pass, which we used from either the Hotel de Ville stop on the opposite side of the Seine or from one of the Left Bank stops. It was typical winter in Paris with cold and rain so being able to come back to our cozy apartment throughout the day was the best. It is well stocked with the basics, and we also found it easy to cook simple meals there.

“Best location, best view!”

This studio is located in a charming and quiet neighborhood near everything -- metro, RER, cafes and restaurants, landmarks and museums. It is not large but cleverly equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Two blocks away is the lively Marais district, two blocks in the other direction is the Latin quarter, and the beautiful Hotel de Ville is right across the river. Marie-Christine and Marc will meet you at the studio and explain how everything functions, and are available for questions. They are most accommodating and kind but also very businesslike and straightforward. I highly recommend this beautiful apartment and look forward to returning!

“Simply Perfect!”

Reviewed 18 Mar 2013

This studio apartment is ideally located, in a safe and quiet neighborhood in a secure building with an elevator within walking distance to the Metro, RER and many attractions. The apartment is bright and clean. Open beams, wood floors and décor add rustic charm; large windows display a magnificent view of the Seine and the adjacent bank. Upscale cabinetry and modern kitchen and bathroom amenities guarantee a comfortable stay. The very comfortable Murphy bed along with the Laura ashley bedding and a down comforter ensure a good night's sleep. The hosts, Christine-Marie and Marc, are charming and eager to help make your stay in Paris comfortable and enjoyable. This apartment exceeded my expectations and I am looking forward to staying here again. This was a great way to experience Paris! The description of the accommodations is accurate and the photos a true reflection. I highly recommend this studio apartment; it was a pleasure to stay here!

“Paris at its best!!!”

Reviewed 6 Jan 2013

The apartment is a superbly-located base to explore Paris being right smack in the center of Paris. The Left Bank and Marais districts are all within easy walking distance from the apartment. The apartment itself is very clean, very well-equip with all amenities and has a very modern bathroom. It also reachable by a small elevator which is useful when you have large bags. There are also many street performers on the many Ile de la cite's many bridges making the area a very happening place. Marie-christine and Marc were very accommodating hosts.

“Remarkable in every way possible. Would stay here again without”

Every once in a while you get lucky enough to do something right, or to stay somewhere where the host has gotten it completely right. I spent two full weeks at Marie Christine and Marc's extremely well located and well appointed pied a terre, and did not want to leave, which is of course the true measure of a trip's success. The location is completely unique as a residential, one way street with unobstructed and panoramic views of the Seine, which make the diminuitive unit feel like it goes on for ever. The decor and amenities are like something you'd find in architectural Digest, and of the highest quality, and very well maintained and clean. The kitchen was stocked with water, salad fixings, coffee, tea, and every utensil you would need to make a romantic meal and have, honestly, one of the best tables in Paris. That said, the apartment is so centrally located, you are minutes, no seconds, away from the principal neighborhoods of Paris...the Marais, Ile St Louis, St. Germain, Latin quarter...so conveniently located, I hardly ventured on to the metro at all and was able to pop back in frequently whenever a nap or a snack was needed. The bed is a Murphy bed, which I was skeptical of, but ended up being one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on. Top this off with hosts that are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. Extremely helpful on logistics, they were eager to help with Restaurant recommendations and reservations, as well as taxi arrangements. If you are lucky enough to book this unit, congratulations: you are in for a terrific stay in Paris!

“A Heaven In Paris”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2012

This apartment was the perfect location in Paris. The view is speculator. Marc and Marie are the best hosts. They were there to greet us when we arrived and took the time to go over any questions we had. The apt.has all the amenities that you could possible need. When we arrived it was our anniversary We had asked Marc and Marie to make dinner reservations for us along with purchasing a bottle of champagne. The champagne was cold and ready to drink and the restaurant Chez Julien was perfect. They really helped to make our visit to Paris perfect.

“outstanding position, well appointed apartment”

Reviewed 9 Sep 2012

Firstly the welcome from the owners was exceptional- friendly, accommodating and full of good advice about the area and how to make the most of our week in this superb apartment. The apartment is small (but this is Paris!) however it is so well designed and has such high quality fittings that we found it met our needs completely. The lift was handy for luggage. The location is really amazing.

“Wonderful”

Reviewed 21 Jul 2012

My wife and I stayed in the apartment for a week in May. What a wonderful place! Firstly, we want to thank Marie Christine and Marc. They were impeccable hosts, and clearly have been very thoughtful about making the apartment as comfortable and well-equipped as possible. They were very accommodating, and made our stay very smooth and easy. The elevator makes access easy. The shower is the largest we've found in Europe. The apartment may look small on the website, but Marie Christine and Marc have been very thoughtful about luggage storage, layout, and amenities, and we had absolutely no trouble with the size. The location is great - close to Notre Dame, of course, but also close to markets, restaurants, the Metro, and the RER.. The neighborhood is quiet and interesting. The location is relatively central, providing easy access to most of Paris. The view is wonderful; we enjoyed picking up food and wine at the markets for dinner, sitting at the table looking out on the river and waving at the boats. The night views are especially nice. We would unhesitatingly stay here again, and give the apartment our highest recommendation. It really made our stay in Paris worry-free and easy. Merci beaucoup, Marie Christine et Marc!
