Stearns County Licensed and Inspected Vacation Rental Property. Cabin includes 5 bedrooms total; 3 private bedrooms, 2 semi-private bedrooms, 2 baths - 8 separate beds (-NO- futons or sleeper sofas) - nice for families, couples, or all guy or all gal trips. All rooms are generously sized, and cabin is approximately 2,000 square feet. Approx. 2400 feet of lake shore on this private peninsula. 70+ miles of lake shore to explore on the Chain. Located on a deep water bay of Cedar Island Lake in the heart of the lake chain. Play on the private beach, spend the day exploring the Horseshoe Chain's 14 interconnected lakes by boat. More info on our website! PONTOON RENTAL: $499 / Week, $150 / Day + Gas & Oil.Note: No more than 10 people are allowed on the property at any one time due to county ordinance and licensure. Children of any age are considered one guest. “Family Vacation with Fishing and Boating”

We love this cabin - it's actually a house. A really nice house. Our kids live in Minneapolis, Grand Forks, and Sioux Falls, so this was a nice place for everyone to meet up, and not too long in the car for our young grandkids from their homes. We really felt 'away from it all.' It's a very private property, and very peaceful. Inside, the big kitchen was a real luxury. Lots of room to make some homemade meals, and help my grandkids make cookies. The bedrooms are all plenty big, and the log beds are really cool. The weather beautiful at the beach, and we only had to turn on the a/C for one day. The central air worked great. The lake is just steps away, and the boat house worked nice to store all our beach stuff and bait...and beers. The pontoon boat was a ton of fun for fishing and just cruising around. We really liked boating to the golf course restaurant. The pontoon paddle boat was a hit with the kids. I also used it in the mornings with a cup of coffee and my Kindle. So cool to hear the loons! The golfers in our group found a different local course every day they golfed, and liked them all. Most of us just hung out on the boat or at the beach until it was time to throw something on the grill, and then time to make some S'mores at the fire pit. It was an awesomely relaxing week. “Another Great Family Lake Vacation”

We had a great time! We have always wanted to rent a lake home, and our first time was everything we wanted. We had so much fun fishing, boating, campfires, playing games in the yard and house, and laughing and spending time together! We took the grandaughters to the amazi'n Farmyard, and would highly recommend it. The 'girls' loved shopping at Grand Depot while the guys kept fishing. The property was perfect for our family of 10, very spacious and roomy, and the yard is huge. We will be back!

“Cozy Lake House”

We spent a few days motorcycling in the area and aunt Kay's cabin was a cozy spot to relax after a day out on our bike. We enjoyed a glass of wine out on the dock and watched the sunset. “The sunsets were awesome”

This was one of the places that our group used as well a 2 others. By far this was the best set up and the hosts couldn't do enough. Beautiful spot right on the lake and the sunsets were just awesome. A glass of wine, my family all aound us and a great place to stay with great sunsets, it doesn't get any better than this. I only wish I fished because everyone that did said it was great fishing.

“Girls Just Wanna Have Fun !!!”

Aunt Kays Cabin is the perfect weekend getaway with "the girls". Our last visit was in the fall and we had another glorious weekend of beautiful weather, great fall colors, cocktails and plenty of laughs . Went for several long walks around the surrounding lakes , enjoyed an afternoon of crafts and having a galss of Chardonnay around the fire pit .Previously we had been at aunt Kays cabin in the summer and we enjoyed spending time laying in the sun on the beach, Margaritas , boating and enjoying the beautiful sun glistening on the lake . Linda and Bill were the perfect hosts who were happy to spend some time with us and were always available to tend to our needs. We are anxiously awaiting our next visit to aunt Kays Cabin.
