Very Good

“Homely, Friendly.”

Reviewed 9 Dec 2014

I stayed here in December with my sister and niece. Lovely homely apt with everything you need on hand. Very clean, Steve and Jane are lovely people and certainly went above and beyond our expectations. Greeted us and showed us around, pointing out places of interest and tours they recommend. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and conveniently situated. They supplied us with tea, coffee, jams, hair-dryer, straighteners, and a few little toiletries (face wipes, toilet roll, hand-wash)Tesco express out the rear of the property, Filthy McNastys is a minute away and is a very quirky place for a drink. The town centre is a short walk away. This was a last minute booking after being badly let down by another company. So glad I found them, it wont be the last time we book. There are steps up to the property but there is a sturdy handrail with a security light on top and I there is also a CCTV at the top.

Response from the owner It was our pleasure to accommodate you Carolyn, hopefully it won't be the last and we look forward to welcoming you back.

“A very fine apartment indeed.”

Reviewed 30 Dec 2013

Once again I've had the immense pleasure of being able to enjoy this fine apartment. Always neat, tidy with everything thought of in advance right down to milk in the fridge. Even more cost-effective than a hotel but with your own surroundings to relax in. I have stayed with you a number of times already and given the opportunity I will continue to do so. It's always a pleasure to do business with you. Your personal approach and willingness to help are second to none. Thanks once again Stephen & Jane.

Response from the owner It's been our pleasure to accommodate you Sean. Thanks for continuing your business with us and for this wonderful review.

“Cosy and convenient”

Reviewed 16 Dec 2013

Excellent service from a very firendly and helpful couple. The small appartment was well-equipped with everything you need for a short stay. The location is very central with lots of shops and restaurants close by and just a 10 minute walk to the city centre.

Response from the owner I'm so sorry you felt 'Value' was low as to mark us down significantly here Fiona. When you first stayed with us in 2011 the weekly rate was £370 which equated to only £50 per night (£60 for a weekend night) for a city centre apartment. Our overheads are perhaps much higher than you might imagine and a significant amount of investment was since made allowing us to increase the comfort and grading by the N.Ireland Tourist Board from 3* to 4*. Thankfully this did not put you off and you have stayed with us a number of times since.

“A home away from home.”

Reviewed 22 Oct 2013

The apartment was very clean and comfortable with all modern appliances and off-street parking. It is located within walking distance of a supermarket, post office, the city centre and a number of tourist destinations. Check-in was a 'breeze'. The service provided by Stephen and Jane was excellent, the extras in the kitchen and bathroom really appreciated. To be able to return to the apartment at the end of a busy day out and just sit and relax was the best.

Response from the owner Thanks for this lovely review Betty. We're really pleased that you enjoyed this well deserved holiday.

“Best accommodation !”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2013

Nice keepers! Lovely room! This place is near the centre bus station which is quite convenient for catching a tour coach and getting to the airport. The keepers are quite nice and can provide plenty of tour information. The facilities are nice and tidy, you can find anything expected.

Response from the owner We're so glad you both enjoyed your first visit to Belfast Anqi. We hope you see you both back again, thanks for your kind review.

“"our home away from home"”

great location, close to bus/train stations, close to City Centre, great reatuarants near by, Tesco Express near, perfect location.

Response from the owner Thanks Ed & Georgia, if you make it over again next year that will be a hat trick :-)

“Great apartment in a great location”

Reviewed 24 Jun 2013

From checking in to the end of my visit, Jane and Stephen were very helpful and extremely prompt in responding to any questions. The apartment itself is even better than advertised - pretty, clean, generally quiet, in a great location just off Dublin Road. It was 10 minutes or less walking to Queens University and to the City Hall, and the Tesco Express literally around the corner was great for groceries or grabbing a quick lunch. Particularly for a longer-term stay (I was there almost 3 weeks), the excellent cooking supplies (good stove, knives, pans, colanders, etc.- all rare for a rental) and well-appointed kitchen both helped to save money and helped make my stay feel relaxed and comfortable. In terms of facilities, the bed was very comfortable, and it was convenient having the washer/dryer in the apartment. I had no issues with any of the appliances or machines - everything seemed carefully maintained. The wireless internet was fast and reliable, and the TV is good quality for some evening football. Highly recommended for business or a vacation, and likely my favorite apartment in this price range from any of my trips to Europe.

Response from the owner Thanks for this wonderful review David! We're hoping you will have more time to enjoy the city and do some sightseeing rather than having to work so much, but it's good you got to see around a bit. The USA isn't so far, so no excuse for not coming back again soon :-)

“Brilliant location!”

Reviewed 7 Jun 2010

We have stayed at Belfast city apartments before and have enjoyed our stay both times. This apartment was very cosy and comfortable and was very well equipped and very clean. It is in a very good location as you could walk straight into the city and lots of great places to see. I will definately be coming back to Belfast City apartments and I would like to say that we got a lovely welcome from Stephen and Jane and they made sure we were happy and comfortable. Thanks again!!!
