“Perfect in every way.”
We wanted to take this time to tell you how much we enjoyed our visit to Rome this past august 22-28. The Marilyn apartment was lovely... clean, comfortable and we couldn't have asked for a better location. We were within walking distance of all the things we planned to see and do on our visit. The manager,Orlando, was very helpful and attentive during our stay. We will highly recommend your rental company and this location to friends and relatives. Thank you for making our family vacation such a wonderful experience. Regards, Paula Brattleboro, VT
“Perfection in Trastevere”
Our family of five stayed at apartment Marilyn for 3 nights and loved it. This was our final stop in Italy, after renting apartments in both Florence and Venice, and Marilyn was our favorite. The flat is beautifully decorated (what you see in the photos is what you get). Every room has air conditioning and a large, comfortable bed. There's also a lift, which helps with heavy luggage. But what really made my family smile was the ice maker in the freezer. After a week in Italy in the middle of the summer with limited ice, we were all excited to have enough ice to go around. I was slightly concerned making the reservation through Easydomus (as I'd never used the site before) but it turns out my worries were for nothing. Eleonora and Orlando were wonderful hosts. Eleonora was very responsive in her communication, and Orlando was waiting for us when we arrived. We accidentally got locked out of our apartment, and they were there in less than 5 minutes to let us back in. Expect to pay 5 euro per person per night for vat - which is standard for Rome. You also can't beat the location of this apartment. There's a grocery store across the street, a liquor store on the corner, and 50 restaurants within walking distance. It's also not in the main touristy section of Rome, so you can immerse yourself in the neighborhood. And should you want to explore, a cab stand is only a few blocks away. I would definitely stay in this apartment again when coming to Rome. I wasn't expecting to love the city as much as I did, and I can't wait to come back to apartment Marilyn again soon.
“Perfect apartment in an amazing location with the warmth of fami”
We had such a wonderful time in Rome! We stayed at the apartment Marilyn. Eleonora is a gracious and helpful manager who has made sure that the apartment has everything we needed to have a comfortable and fun stay. Eleonora was waiting for us when we got there! She explained well and showed us everything in the apartment. We had stayed in lots of rentals through the years and this apartment was really one of the best - nicely furnished and stocked with everything we need! Eleonora was also kind to lend us a city guide, since we lost ours on the plane... The location is perfect! Within 5 minutes walking, you'll be seeing the important historical sites of Trastevere, the Bernini masterpiece of Beata Ludovica albertoni in the Church of San Francesco a Ripa and the Bramante's magnificent Renaissance chapel in San Pietro in Montorio are just a few steps away. For the walking lovers I would like also to recommend the top of the Janiculum Hill, really a fantastic view of Rome can be seen by night! During weekends, this area prohibits vehicular traffic, making it possible to walk safely till late at night between the alleys. Aside from that, the neighborhood has grocery stores, an outdoor market, restaurants, public transportation and anything else you could need nearby... Really recommended apartment!
“Best place to stay in Rome - you will love it!”
We were a party of 6 persons, three couples, very much eager to explore Rome for the first time. I have organized the travel together with my boyfriend for the whole group and finally we decided to stay for a week, even thanks to the more convenient weekly price... Well... what can I say? The apartment Marilyn is really beautiful, everything is at the right place! I love also surrounding area, I think is the best part of Trastevere. I felt in love with those small characteristic streets, really lovely... The position was wonderful, we use to go around by feet, and we visited quite everything during our stay without using the buses, honestly just a couple of times for the Vatican, as suggested by Eleonora. I would also say a big thanks to antonio who was the soul of all our dinners: he supplied us a long list of places... really one better over the others... In particular I will remember forever a memorable pasta "roman style” served directly on the pot at the Taverna Trilussa! We had really so much fun during our stay in Rome! Thank you all, can't wait to come back!
