Ballard Abode is a cozy 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath town home in historic Ballard. It was built in 2006 and is in excellent condition with all new furniture and decor and radiant floor heat. Relax in the living area next to the gas fireplace and prepare meals in the full kitchen if you decide to eat in. Or sit on the little balcony for some fresh air and the sounds of seagulls overhead. There is a garage for a compact car as well as a small private back yard. The townhouse sleeps 3 comfortably, 2 in a queen bed and 1 on the twin sofa bed.

Less than 10 walking minutes away are three great grocery stores. Or walk to one of the many and varied nearby restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops to satisfy your hunger. Explore the colorful shops and boutiques just a few blocks away on Market Street and historic Ballard Avenue. Spend your Sunday wandering through the delightful Ballard Farmers Market that offers fresh organic foods and other interesting booths with unique wares for sale. “Quiet & cozy, but less than 2 blocks to all you could want!”

Reviewed 28 Mar 2018

We loved our stay at the Ballard Abode! It was awesome to have off-street parking each night & not have to worry about finding a spot on the tiny streets of Ballard. It was awesome to be less than two blocks to stores, restaurants, bars, etc. The condo was clean, spacious, & much nicer than a stay at a hotel. We didn't spend much time at the rental during our trip, but it was extremely nice to know we had a fireplace, comfy couch, & TWO bathrooms waiting for us each day. We would definitely recommend this rental for couples or small families!

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ballard”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our month in your Ballard abode. Your condo is even nicer than the internet pictures. Don't get the warm, invited feeling through the pictures. Thanks for the thoughtful details, especially your basket of brochures explaining things to do in and around the Seattle area and for your binder with info related to the condo and appliances. Love the Ballard location! The walking was easy (unlike the "straight up" streets in the Queen anne area). We explored the Ballard Locks, the Marina area, the Golden Garden Park, the Woodland Zoo as well as the Market & Ballard Street shops, restaurants and the wonderful assortment of flowers that grow everywhere in Ballard. We even used the D-Line bus so that we did not have to drive to Pikes Place Market. The bus was the way to travel within the city - inexpensive, timely & no parking fee once we got there. Actually, we never took our car out of your garage except when we went out of town to Bothell, Vancouver, Snohomish, etc. Thanks again for the use of your lovely condo. We are already looking forward to next Summer's trip to Seattle.

“Clean, comfortable, great location”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2013

This home is an easy walk to central Ballard and close to bus lines to downtown Seattle. My reason for picking this home was for location and it was just what I needed. The home appears to be fairly new and is nicely decorated. The space is clean, comfortable and well supplied with all the necessities of daily living. It sleeps three but that means one person sleeps on a small sleeper sofa in the living room. The owner was very helpful and kept in contact by email or phone. Parking in this area of Ballard is a problem and so it is nice that the home has a garage. However, in order to use the garage one must have a fairly small car as the garage approach is at a difficult angle.
