“romantic getaway for a centrally located little cozy condo/studi”
I stayed here in september and one of the things I liked was the fact that it was managed by a agency. Of course there's a lot of paperwork to be done, but you get a sense of security. You can also call up the agency and speak to them as well. The room is small and cozy and can accomodate up to 6, but more suitable for 4. Perfect for just 2. It pretty much has everything you need, however you need to clean up before you leave. The place does have a washer, which you might have to ask the owner how to use, but there is no dryer. There are these dry racks you can use to dry your clothes. You'll have to be gentle with the toilet and try to be quiet during the evening hours. Overall, I enjoyed my stay despite the long flight of stairs to the room. It's quiet during the evening hours, however there were constructions in the morning when I was there. The owner is very nice and accommodated us when we had to get in during the evening hours. One tip, if you are getting in during the evening hours, be sure you have a cell and know how to call him. Otherwise, it would be quite difficult to know what's going on. This place is great for couples who are just taking it easy in the city because there's pretty much everything you need conveniently located near you. The metro, grocery store franprix, and restaurants. Also great for people enjoying the exciting night life of bars and clubs, there's a street nearby just full of that. For those whom are aggressively sight-seeing, it provides a safe place to come back to at night and it's centrally located so the time spent in the metro is fairly short. Pro: -Location: conveniently located near the japanese district with tons of restaurants to chose from. It is also near Opera, which made it easy to take the Rossy Bus to and from the airport. As far as safety goes, it's very safe to walk around in the evening. Cons: -No elevators - it's 5 flights of stairs, so brace yourself for a ton of steps.
Response from the manager Hello, I just realized we didn't thank you for taking the time to review this flat in details. I think you say it all :) We Hope to see you soon in Paris (we will be happy to run a search for places with elevator next time :) if needed ) Paris Be A Part Of It team
“Comfort + Location”
We loved this apartment. It's close to everything. The neighbourhoods surrounding and nearby are fascinating and fun. The Metro (Pyramide) is a couple of blocks away. Monoprix (department store) is nearby - food, wine, and North american electrical appliance plug converters! We walked from here to the Louvre, up the Champs-Élysées to L'Arc de Triomphe, over to the Eiffel Tower (and climbed to Stage 2!) - in one afternoon / evening! [by this point we had to take a boat back - we were tired! - but my point is that this location is within walking distance of so much!] It's quiet. I slept very well. The little kitchen is more than enough to make wonderful meals. The owner was kind and gracious. His agents were friendly and helpful. Be warned: there are 108 steps up to this unit. It's not for everyone, I guess - just those who are healthy and strong!
“Great location, affordable and accessible”
We enjoyed our stay at 71 Rue St. Anne. The apartment was a great location and the owner was prompt and professional. It was one of the most affordable place we found that could accommodate six people. We had two adults, two kids (ages 9, 10) and two teens (ages 14,15). The kids shared the bedroom, the parents the living room. It was close quarters, but do-able. The apartment's central location allowed us to walk to the Louvre, the Tuilleries, the Orsay and the Orangerie. Though small, the apartment had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen area so well stocked. There is a lot of construction happening in the building. Starting at about 8 in the morning on weekdays, there was quite a bit of construction noise (hammer, jack jammer, power saw).
“Great value with friendly service”
5 of us went to Paris in Sept 2009. We made our reservation for our vacation rental through "Paris be a part of it". The website was easy to navigate and the process was straight forward. We picked "Rue Sainte anne - apt #182" because of its location, its price and the fact that it can fit 5 people. It was close to public transportation and only a short walk to the Louvre. We were very happy with the service too. The owner provided good information before we depart for Paris. When we arrived in the neighborhood, we were unable to find the apartment initially (due to the fact that we don't know French and apparently none of us can read a map...). I was surprised when I heard someone called my name!! The guy that was going to check us in probably saw a group of lost looking tourist and was so kind to approach us :) He even helped with our luggage. The apartment was clean, functional and very pleasant. We enjoyed our 5 night stay there. The listing is very clear that the apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator. The stairs can be hard after a whole day of sight seeing/walking in Paris.
“Paris state of mind”
The stairs were a daily challenge yet good exercise. The apartment is spacious for one or two people, charming top floor with exposed beams and quiet for this very central area. It is on rue Saint Anne which is known for its Japanese restaurants, Sushi and noodle places. Most of Paris' main attractions are in walking distance, very close to the Palais Royal, the Louvre, the Tuileries gardens, all famous shopping streets of the 1st, 2nd and 9th arrondisments,
