“Thanks for having us!”

We love asheville! Why don't we live here? Owner was great and so was this adorable yurt! You should stay here!

“Dog- Kid- and Wife approved”

Took the family here on a mini getaway to explore asheville and enjoy some "unplugged" time. We had a blast- great hosts-we mentioned we had kids and they left us a six pack of beer and a quart of chocolate ice cream in the fridge- that kind gesture was really appreciated after a six hour drive with 5 humans and 2 canines! We can't wait to come back and we will tell everyone coming to asheville about the yurt! Thank you!

“Better than we could have imagined!”

We loved staying in the yurt! Joanna was incredibly nice, accommodating, and responsive, and our brief stay in asheville was borderline magical, thanks to staying in the yurt. We were close to great hiking, West asheville, and downtown, and the yurt was the perfect place for us to rest and regroup between adventures. It's is entirely unique and also entirely comfortable and relaxing. We've already recommended it to friends, and we're hoping to plan a trip to asheville again with family--we will definitely be looking to book the yurt!!

“Loved it”

Staying at the Yurt was like a childhood fantasy come true. As soon as I walked in, I was in complete awe of how beautiful it is. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved it. When we were packing up to leave my boyfriend said "I wish we stayed longer" and I couldn't have agreed more. The Yurt is bigger than I had thought with a solar skylight that gives you a beautiful view of the stars. The bed is comfy and warm. We spent one night in the loft--Sooo romantic! Joanna stocks extra blankets but we didn't need any of them with all the blankets already on the bed and the heater. Ideal location- close to everything. County gas station less than a mile away on gorman bridge for last minute supplies on gorman bridge (beer...don't expect to find wine for sale there), downtown just a few minutes away. This is our second visit to asheville and we missed the biltmore estate again, but we did go on a really funky comedy tour with La Zoom that we highly recommend and my boyfriends favorite, the brewery tour with asheville brews cruise---so fun!!! This town is great! Communication with Joanna was perfect- she quickly responded to all my emails. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip! This is the place that you can't wait to tell your friends about.

“What a great find!”

This place was excellent. Owner has not overlooked any detail. Would love to come again- so close to downtown yet totally private. Beds comfy- just plain Fun. Thanks.

“We want a Yurt!”

Great week. Took our sixteen year old daughter here to check out the University of North Carolina. She loved sleeping in the loft. We ate our way through asheville, visiting several local restaurants we have never been to and revisiting our favorite- The Corner Kitchen. The property is really beautiful and felt very private and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and the yurt was very clean. The owner had excellent communication and responded very quickly to our emails and questions before we arrived. Hoping our daughter decides on Unca so we have an excuse to come back to asheville!

“Awesome Hotel alternative!”

Surprised my wife with a weekend in asheville four our 5 year anniversary. She had never seen pictures of the yurt and had no idea what to expect. won bonus points and we had a very romantic weekend exploring asheville and hanging around the yurt. Very close to downtown. The host had a stack of fire wood waiting for us- definitely recommend the fire pit area. Very cool experience.
