This house was originally built as a single story brick home that sits just one house back from the beach, with large Ocean facing balconies and no Typical Hidden Fees associated with most Vacation rentals. Use of Ocean front Heated/Cooled Pool.

No Hidden Fees

Our Terraces can host up to 3 separate families or you can rent the entire house and have all your friends or family under one roof, with off street parking for 2 vehicles per unit.

The 1st floor Terrace (approximately 550 sq. ft) can hold up to 4 people. It is a studio rental with an open living/bedroom area with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa. It has a kitchen and bathroom as well as a large 35 foot Terrace with a hammock on this level, with good ocean views.

The 2nd Floor Terrace holds up to 8 people. (Over 1550 sq. ft) It has 2 separate bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a very large living room that has a queen sleeper sofa and a reading nook that has twin trundle beds, which offers a great view of the ocean. This unit also has a full kitchen and separate dining area for 8. The 27 foot Terrace has an outdoor dining set, rocking chairs, and a great view of the Atlantic.

The 3rd floor Terrace has sleeping for 6 (Over 1550 sq. ft) with a master King bedroom, a guest Queen bedroom with a rear balcony, and a sleeper sofa in the large living area. With a dining area and bar seating, having meals in the Terrace makes being together easy and fun. The 35 foot Terrace offers a spectacular panoramic view of the ocean, see picture below.

The DeSoto Beach Terraces offer separate entrances for each unit, an elevator access available for second and third floor units, and access to the Hotel amenities including the oceanfront pool and sundeck, and the Shipwatch Lounge Game Room.

You can also rent beach chairs with umbrellas to enjoy the day on the sand or you can rent one of our beachcruisers to enjoy seeing the island by bike.

Reserving one or all of our terraces is different from traditional vacation rentals in that THERE ARE NO HIDDEN COSTS to you. You won't be surprised by parking fees, administrative costs, or resort fees. What you are quoted is the rate you will pay plus, of course, the 13% sales tax. There is no housekeeping charge associated with your stay.

Housekeeping will be provided at checkout unless you request housekeeping during your stay. These services are the only additional cost that you may incur and this is at your request only. All units have washer and dryer.

If DeSoto Beach (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
