“A great escape from the busyness of life!”

Reviewed 9 Jun 2015

Our family enjoyed the beauty of this cabin in the beauty of Branson, MO. The spacious cabin allowed our family of 4 plenty of room. The huge master suite and whirlpool tub granted us a mini vacation within. We absolutely loved the outdoor hot tub! Nothing like relaxing while watching the beauty of nature or the stars popping in the night sky. There is also nearby frisbee golf, a park and pool to enjoy. It had all we needed as well. The cabin is close enough to enjoy the Branson entertainment and far enough to escape. We would definitely stay at Cross Timbers again!!

Response from the owner So glad y'all enjoyed your stay! Thank you for taking the time to let others know what you enjoyed. Hope you'll be our guests again!

“Wonderful cabin so we will be back!”

Reviewed 28 Dec 2014

We went the day after Christmas for the weekend to spend some time away with my family and couldn't have picked a better place. The accommodations were great everything you would ever need to prepare a meal and entertain. The beds were comfortable as well as the pull out couches. The loft was a great bonus for the kids! Would love to stay again maybe when the weather is nicer so we can enjoy some of the ammentities.

“Perfect Girls Getaway”

Reviewed 11 Aug 2014

We had a wonderful stay at Cross Timbers! The pictures online do not do it justice! The owners are very nice and easy to work with. The cabin is located close enough to everything in Branson, but out enough to get you away from all the noise. Loved it!!

Response from the owner Thank you for your kind words Amy! So glad your girls getaway was a success! We try to make the booking process, etc... as easy as possible and appreciate your feedback. We would love for you to be our guest again. P.S. Thanks for letting us know about the iron being broken. So sorry :(.

“Everything you need!”

Reviewed 7 Apr 2014

Thank you, Lauers, for sharing your beautiful cabin with us! It was just perfect. First let me say that Dana was great to work with. Quick to communicate and, as we made our reservations very close to our actual trip, she was extremely accommodating with our needs and situation. The location of the cabin is great if you want to be away from the craziness of Highway 76, but close enough to take part in everything Branson has to offer. We have stayed at condos and cabins which were essentially bare upon arrival. This cabin, however, has everything you need to get your vacation started. There is a convenience store not five minutes away and a large grocery that is about a 10 minute drive. All of the essentials, along with coffee, salt and pepper, a few other simple items, and even some non-perishables were available in the pantry. (There is plenty of hand and dishwashing soap, but you will need to bring shampoo/conditioner, etc.) There are plenty of pillows, blankets, sheets, and a generous number of towels for both bathing and enjoying the hot tub. If needed, the washer and dryer is a great bonus. The cabin is beautiful, exactly as described online. It is tastefully decorated, exactly as you'd think a log cabin should be, while still modern and updated. The appearance this cabin shows that it has been extremely well cared for- amazingly clean inside and out. We stayed over spring break with our five children. The hot tub, stock of games including a huge checker set, and a few other toys were a huge hit. The Kids brought some toys with them and only time we turned on one of the televisions was to watch a DVD one evening when it was raining. There was plenty of space for everyone to have their own bed and hang out without being on top of each other. The lure of the loft, however, was too great for them and they all piled up there together to play and sleep. This is definitely the stuff memories are made of!

Response from the owner Kristi---thank you so much for your kind words. This is exactly the type of comments we love to hear as our goal really is to provide a peaceful, clean, relaxing place for people to get away. We hope y'all will be our guests again!

“Relaxing Stay”

Reviewed 19 Nov 2013

We were looking forward to our stay at Cross Timber cabin and we weren't disappointed. The cabin itself is lovely, furnished with upscale furniture and nicely decorated. It was also spotless. The grill and hot tub were favorite features. It wasn't cold enough to use the fireplace, but I have no doubt it would've made a cozy setting. Dana Lauer, the owner, was wonderful to work with and her check in instructions were clear and concise. I would recommend this cabin to friends and family without hesitation. It was a very relaxing and soothing setting for a lovely weekend away.

Response from the owner Thanks so much for your kind words. So glad you enjoyed your stay. You'll have to come back sometime when it's cold enough to use the fireplace----very cozy!

The location was great! Loved the fireplace, grill and hot tub!!! We cooked all our meals and enjoyed the view!

Response from the owner So glad you enjoyed your stay. The hot tub is always a favorite---any time of year. I hope you'll be our guests again, and thank you for taking the time to share your review with others.

“Great Getaway”

Reviewed 22 Oct 2013

What a beautiful cabin to relax and enjoy time away from "real life." We enjoyed the quaint cabin and beautiful view. We were able to enjoy some fun in Branson and then retreat to the cabin to watch movies, play games, soak in the hot tub, run the trails, and just spend time together as a family.

Response from the owner Thanks Angi. So glad y'all had a good time. I love the pictures!

“It was Grrrrrrrreat!!!!!”

Reviewed 12 Mar 2010

Stayed at many Resorts, but to have a cabin to yourself was wonderful. It was very comfortable and I couldn't think of anything that I needed that wasn't provided. It is a beautiful cabin. Just far enough from Branson that you didn't get into allot of traffic, and still close enough to get there when you wanted to. There was so much to do close to the cabin. Would stay there again. we were so relaxed in this log cabin with all furnishings and personal extra items that were like you would find in a five star resort. We were near all sights..they supplied up to date info on all local shows and sights to see. The kitchen was large with plenty of room to cook and feel right at home. The sheets and towels ere to quality...the cabin was immaculate. There were extra things to make it feel like home away from home...like popcorn maker with popcorn..books, games, magazines. Tv in everyy room. Cat wait to go back again!
