“Balcony in the Bastille”
We loved how quiet it was, eating breakfast and dinner out on the balcony and having so many shops right out on our street and the nearby market.
Response from the manager Thank you. We are glad you took advantage of the balcony overlooking the peaceful garden, it is a rare treat in Paris. The street outside is one of our favorite "local" streets in Paris. There are bakeries, fruit stands, groceries, cafes, quick food places, as well as famous gourmet restaurants and more ! A great place to base yourself while in Paris. And so accessible via Metro Line 1 ! We hope to see you again soon, Cobblestone Paris
“This place was delightful and I would highly recommend renting from Cobblestone!”
Our party consisted of two adult women and one 16-yr-old girl (me, my daughter, and her French teacher). We were thrilled with the apartment, the ease of booking and payment, the location, the cleanliness, the safety and security of the building, the quiet--it was really, really quiet, in the heart of a bustling neighborhood!. The apartment is very light, has a very private small balcony overlooking a lovely garden (large enough for two people to eat breakfast on the balcony). Our greeter, Lauren, was perfect to work with. She recommended things to see and places to eat in Paris. The little extras that were provided made it seem like the manager could read the visitors' minds: the spices and coffee, the iron, the fan, the hair dryer, the movies, the outlet adapter, the coat hangers, the dish soap, the shampoo, the maps, etc. We did not use all these things, but we were glad many of them were there. I would not recommend this apartment for a party that includes children. Also, it would be uncomfortably tight for four people. But for three (two of whom will share a bed), it was just right, and for two it would be spacious, because you wouldn't have to unfold the sofa bed. Also, there was plenty of cabinet and drawer space for our belongings, so we could put away our clothes and still have room to tuck the suitcases out of sight for the week. There are fresh fruits and vegetables and a wonderful patisserie just a few steps away. I did not want to leave.
“Amazing Paris Stay!!”
We stayed in the apartment for 5 days in November, 2013 on our 3rd trip to Paris. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner who gave us a quick run down on the area and the best places to eat if you wanted to taste "authentic" French cuisine. A welcome present of a bottle of French Red Wine and Chocolate didn't go astray either :). Her recommendations were spot on and the food at that restaurant was to die for. The area was safe to walk around at night/day with a grocery store at the front gate and only a 5 minute walk to the Bastille Metro. The owner also gave us tips on where to visit if we wanted to go "off the beaten track" and really explore Paris as it was our third time there so we'd done most of the touristy things. The apartment was suitable for a couple and I wouldn't recommend anymore than that, but being that size it was intimate and perfect for a romantic holiday in the city. The apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it had everything you need in the kitchen if you wanted to cook a meal. The Bathroom was fabulous and we rated it the best shower we've had on all our trips away. Things like Dvd's, tea/coffee, couch and WiFi are all there for your use. We highly recommend The Fleur du Bastille to anyone who is thinking about going to Paris and if we return ever again hopefully we can stay again. Loved it.

“Cosy, safe and quiet”
My daughter and I stayed for a week at the Fleur de Bastille apartment and we had the most wonderful time. It is close to the metro and shops and supermarkets. The apartment is delightfully furnished - it feels home straight away. The complex is very safe and quiet, no traffic noise as it is set back. We can only recommend it!
“A Home away from Home”
The Best Thing about Our Stay at Fleur de la Bastille was when we walked in and saw how well-outfitted the apartment was: Dvds, guides, books, coffee, paper towels, plenty of towels, spices, lovely plates and glasses, the wine. I felt as if someone had really thought through what would make a guest feel comfortable right away. Lauren's graciousness added to the whole welcoming feeling. Also: the bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the many light sources--on each side of the bed, over the sofa, for the kitchen, for the whole apartment, for the exit way. Again, it was obvious that someone had thought through what would make it very easy to stay in the apartment while in a strange city. I don't think that my husband and I will ever stay in a hotel again when traveling. An apartment is definitely the way to go
“A dream come true!!”
I absolutely recommend this apartment, It´s incredible, beautifully decorated and located in a very nice and safe neighborhood. I stayed in many apartments during my Europe vacations, non of the others were as carefully prepared for the guests. The thing I loved the most were the little details, the DVD and book collection, the products on the kitchen such as olive oil, salt, tea, coffee etc...we even had a bottle of wine and chocolate as a welcome present. it made all the difference and it made us as confortable as at home.
Response from the manager Thank you ! My favorite thing in the world is hearing that someone has enjoyed one of the Cobblestone apartments. Everything that we do is designed to ensure that visitors have a great time in their Cobblestone apartment. We are so happy that you were at home at La Fleur du Bastille. See you soon ! - Jennifer & Cobblestone Paris.
“Well located and a quiet and peaceful apartment.”
This apartment, being in a block which was 3 blocks back from a busy road povided a quiet and restful spot at the end of a busy day.Very good service and help from staff, and a more than adequate apartment. The location was terrific, being not too far(easy walking distance) to Place de la Bastille.
“La Fleur Du Bastille”
--- Having Lauren greet us at the apartment set us up for a delightful time in Paris. She gave us good information, and answered all our questions, which alleviated our anxieties. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well appointed, and stocked with the essentials. La Fleur Du Bastille was a wonderfully quiet oasis to which we returned at the end of each marvelously busy day in a truly magical city.
“A great choice of stay”
This was the first time my wife and me rent an appartment. We were so surprised by the convenience of renting. we will definitley do it again. When we got to "fluer de la Bastille", we were welcomed by Lauren, who was very friendly and helpful. She answered all of our questions (and we had many) kindly with great patience and smile. The appartment was very pleasing. It is inside a multiple apartment buildings complex, in a quiet location far from the road with a balcony facing a garden with two cute bunnies. The kitchen was well equiped, the only thing missing from there was an oven, but we didn't plan to use it anyway. There is a supermarket in the entrance, so we could buy groceries and cook our breakfast and dinners. An information booklet given to us was really priceless! - containing any information we may need to know about Paris The appartmnt is few minutes walk to two Metro stations (one is central) and it was very easy to move around the city. All in all - excellent experience.
“Awesome few days in Paris”
The apartment was perfect for our short stay! Lauren was very welcoming, very friendly. The location was great and the instruction book was a very nice touch
