“quaint and perfect, wonderfully located, convenient apartment to see Paris from.”

Reviewed 4 May 2015

the apartment was immaculately presented with fabulous greeter to help us settle in. Very generous treats for our arrival made it a great start to what was the best accommodation we could have wished for in Paris. great to return to our hidden gem at the end of a busy day seeing all the wondrous sights and history and art and life that is Paris.

“A clean, quiet tucked away gem in the heart of Paris”

Reviewed 27 Apr 2015

The apartment was well located and very quiet! It was small and cozy, but efficient. The Wifi was consistent and fast. At least 3 different metros served our needs in easy walking distance. We found great little restaurants, grocery stores and an excellent pâtisserie in the neighborhood. We brought our 15 year old son and he had a great time with us living a little like a Parisian. The apartment was just what we needed. We really enjoyed our stay!

Response from the manager Thank you. We are glad to hear you tried the local shops and restaurants. Stay tuned, the entire street will be undergoing a transformation into a Gourmet Shopping Street. We can't wait !

“In the heart of Paris”

Reviewed 11 Jan 2015

We stayed a week at Le Classique Du Marais - a quiet one bedroom apartment in the Marais. Our only complaint - we couldn't stay much longer. Excellent facilities and location - just across from the famous restaurant l'ami Louis and many others, close to markets and supermarkets. In short, outstanding!

Response from the manager Thank you for your positive comments. We are so glad you enjoyed the neighborhood, it is in a great location with very local flavour, and nothing touristy. We are waiting to see what will happen, as this street has been designated a gourmet hotspot and will be undergoing a major transformation soon to include local, artisanal shops and restaurants. We can't wait.

“Wonderful Experience! Would do it again.”

Reviewed 4 Dec 2014

The apartment we rented was clean and cosy and situated right in the heart of the Marais. It was close to the Metro, shops and restaurants. It really felt more like a home than a hotel room. I felt we were right in the middle of a neighbourhood, walking past real families and people. Having an apartment with a cooktop, fridge, combo microwave/oven, toaster, kettle and coffee maker was a real treat. We were able to walk to the local food store (Monoprix) and buy ready to heat meals for a fraction of the cost of eating out. We are not talking about typical Canadian frozen dinners, but pasta dishes and ethnic foods that were made fresh and were delicious. We also bought containers of various cheeses and bread to take with us on our travels. We also found a good variety of fresh salads. There was a combo washer/dryer which was a big bonus for people like us who travel light. Having clean clothes without the crazy expensive cost of sending out laundry was wonderful. The neighbours were friendly and courteous--when we walked down the narrow sidewalks we often got "Bonjour". I believe staying here helped us enjoy Paris much more than having a hotel. Lauren our greeter was enthusiastic and helpful. We will use Cobblestone in the future and encourage our friends to do so also.

Response from the manager What great travelers you are, really taking advantage of "living" in the city, going to markets, cooking at home. You really got the true Parisian experience. Keep an eye on this street, they have plans to turn it into a Gourmet street with local bakers, cheese, fish, flowers etc. We are excited to see how it will turn out. Thanks for your stay and positive comments, we look forward to seeing you in Paris again soon.

“Paris perfection”

Reviewed 16 Oct 2014

The best part was the part between going in the front door on the first day and going out on the last! To be more specific, the best part of our stay was feeling like we were at home in Paris. Without thinking about it we started referring to the street as "our street". The apartment was clean and comfortable, and very romantic. The location was great. The arrangements were impeccable. Thank you for making our stay so special.

Response from the manager We are very glad you felt like it was "your street" and "your apartment". That is what we aim for !

“Amazing location, cleanliness and charming decor, having our own space in a wonderful city!”

Reviewed 14 Oct 2014

This apartment is amazing. The location is excellent. It is very near to the metro which makes for an easy commute to any tourist attractions. The apartment was very clean and had many amenities. From having coffee to a fridge, the apartment had pretty much all you could ask for. It was great being able to shop at a local grocer and to be able to eat in for breakfast, and then go across the street to a local restaurant for dinner after a long day of site-seeing. The only thing I would caution about is the stairs for people with disabilities. It was fine for us, but if you have back problems, it could be difficult to navigate up the small spiral staircase. We would definitely stay here again! Thank You Cobblestone!

Response from the manager Thank you for your review. You are right, the location is amazing, and there are plans to turn the street into a gourmet paradise! We hope you will visit again to see the changes. We are happy you enjoyed the apartment.

“Wonderful oasis in the heart of Paris”

Reviewed 25 Aug 2014

We had a lovely stay at Le Classique du Marais-a charming loft apt perfect for our family of 4. Our teenagers enjoyed the wifi and lounging in the living room; we all enjoyed the convenience of kitchen, washer/dryer, free phone calls, and the great extras--bottle of wine, chocolate, lovely toiletries, olive oil and spices--as well as the terrific location. Between the two nearby metro stops, the local boulangerie with killer croissants for breakfast, convenient Monoprix and Carrefour for supplies, and great boutiques of the neighborhood, we could (and would)have stayed a month. Our greeter Lauren welcomed us to Paris and introduced us to the apartment. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Response from the manager Thank you for your great comments, we are VERY HAPPY you enjoyed your stay. We are thrilled to provide great Paris experiences. - Jennifer & Cobblestone. www.CobblestoneParis.com

“Cobblestone Rentals in Paris was great!”

Reviewed 9 Oct 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our greeter (Kelly) was prompt and friendly and showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment. She also gave us recommendations about the area, which were excellent. There was an issue with the key and Lauren visited us on Monday night to bring us an extra set and she was great too. She gave us recommendations for the neighborhood and was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed talking with and getting to know them both. Staying in the apartment allowed us to 'live like locals' and made our stay even more enjoyable.

“Visit Paris in winter and celebrate Cobblestone comfort - you wi”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2013

The apartment was exactly as described, everything was perfect - and the information provided was very useful and well presented. Although I was unable to meet my greeter due to flight delays, Lauren was very helpful and ensured the apartment was warm and cosy for my arrival. Her follow up calls and texts to ensure everything was as expected was reassuring and very professional. I would highly recommend CobblestoneParis as an accommodation option in Paris. The location was fantastic, with great places to eat , metros, and many interesting museums and parks in close proximity.

“Very Cosy”

Reviewed 26 Nov 2012

Lovely little flat in great location near 2 stations and lots of shops / restaurants. Interior is very cost with high quality appliances. Only tip is that the downstairs floor is tiled and the upstairs carpet it s bit abrasive on your feet so some thick socks / slippers for when you are indoors might be an idea :-). Apart from that, can't fault it.
