“Great Beach House in Perfect Location”

Reviewed 17 Apr 2014

We stayed at this house for the first time in March 2014. Fantastic stay! We had 2 children in one room, and adults in the other two bedrooms, so we all had our space. The house had everything that we needed: beach towels, beach chairs and beach umbrella, beach toys for the kids, pool toys. The washer/dryer were great for a week stay. We loved the screened-in porch where we ate meals, and the kitchen was perfect. The location can't be beat - just one block from the middle of the island, where all of the restaurants and the store are located. Our kids loved the pool in Sunset Captiva, and we grilled out one night at the grill area near the pool. The beach is right past the pool area, and my kids had a blast looking for shells and playing in the sand. The house had wi-fi with a good signal, which was helpful if we had to check work emails. The owner was friendly and helpful in the booking process. We loved our stay!

“Outsdanding Captiva Property”

Reviewed 11 Apr 2014

My family and I stayed in this property for a month this past February 2014, we have stayed here many times before and continue to come back. The owner updates and maintains quality constantly, it is one of the premier properties in this complex. A close walk to the beach in one direction and the bayside in the other, or a heated pool if you prefer. Comes with a boat slip in a private marina. Restaurants, grocery, and stores all in walking distance. All you need is here, we are booked again for next year.

“Relaxing in Paradise”

Reviewed 25 Dec 2011

Stayed from December 17-24, 2011 and had the most relaxing time. Our 3 children are 17-21 and all boys and the activities we enjoyed included the pool and tennis on site, kayaking in the bay across the street and we enjoyed dinners at Key Lime Bistro, Green Flash and the mexican place downtown. All were enjoyable and the live music at Key Lime was especially great. We also went into Sanibel to enjoy a movie and dinner at Timbers (highly recommended). The house was very convenient and comfortable. We enjoyed it completely and the relaxed setup is perfect for a family vacation. We did not use our car except to get to the golf course and the movies. We walked everywhere. Very nice week and we may go again next year. Thanks George for sharing your place with us!

“Another Day In Paradise”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2011

Five years ago, when we first stayed at 47 Sunset Captiva, we made a new friend and while walking to the beach on morning she called out "Another day in paradise." And it was. At the end of the week, my daughter commented that she had not been in a car for seven days. What a treat. Each year my granddaughters make new friends on the beach or at the pool and my son-in-law makes new friends at the barbecue grills. The house has everything we could want and more. Our favorite spot is the screened porch. It's the ideal vacation spot for us.
