“Great value !”
We highly recommend this place. The condo was very clean and everything in good shape. The service was great and very helpful. We would come back any time ! A free breakfast was offered for participating a sales presentation but there wasn't put any pressure on us when we rejected. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. When our van cab cancelled our ride to the airport 1 hour before departure the service was very helpful and found a solution immediately. Thank you!
“A great alternative for families”
I rented this unit while I was attending a week-long conference a couple of blocks away; my spouse and two young children accompanied me on this work trip. The condo was very nice and well-equipped with nice bedding for the fold out couch and it had everything we needed in the kitchen area. The price was much better than that offered for similar suites in nearby hotels. Delicious takeout from several restaurants in a two block radius is available for a good price. We used the on-site guest laundry once and it was very nice. I would rent the condo again and was very happy with our stay. Some potential downsides to be aware of: Sales pitches for timeshares come with the "free" breakfast. We politely declined both and were left alone. No maid service comes with the rental and some of the things one would want aren't supplied (coffee filters, dishwasher pods only for a couple of days rather than for the whole week). It was easy enough to buy these things at the corner store, but providing these small touches would have been nice. The area gets seedy quickly if you walk in some directions.
“Home away from home”
We stayed a week (1 bd, 1 bath) cute apartment on the 8th floor to the back of the property. Very quiet. Perfect size for 4 people. The property is new and very well kept. Everything is in perfect conditions. The personnel is very nice and very attentive to all your needs. They don't do daily service to the rooms but just pickup the phone and they will be at your door to pick up trash, provide clean towels or attend to your requests. The location is very convenient to walk around. Very convenient washer and dryer on every other floor free of extra charge. Few blocks to Union Square, Westfield Mall, Powell Trolley Station, tons of shops and restaurants(not uphill like the Fairmont Hotel). Only one caveat: be prepare to refuse an invitation to a timeshare presentation upon checking in unless you are interested in one.
“Five star city break”
My Husband, Daughter and myself stayed at this accommodation for a three night break in the city. What a wonderful find. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and in the perfect location for touring San Francisco. The complimentary laundry facilities were a much appreciated extra and all staff were extremely pleasant and polite. I will certainly recommend to friends and family.
My wife and I stayed here with our 8 month old son and we were very happy with the accommodations. The hotel is centrally located and is close to public transportation. It is a bit close to the seedy tenderloin district, but no closer than some other hotel 3-4x the cost of this. The staff/concierge was helpful and not pushy at all about selling me a timeshare. They did call the room several times the first couple of days but I essentially ignored them and they got the point. I highly recommend this resort, and this is coming from someone who travels regularly for business.
“Excellent place for a great price!”
We loved staying here! It's like a hotel of condos and our one bedroom condo was perfect for us with our 1-year-old! They even had a pack n play that we could use while there so that we didn't have to travel with ours. The location is very close to Union Square and lots of bus/cable car stops. They have a concierge that you can consult every day if you want to about where to go and the best way to get there and places to eat. These folks were excellent! This is by far the best place we found for such a good deal ($1250/week).
“Suprisingly much better than expected”
The rooms were awesome and the staff extremely helpful and friendly
“Nice Stay, Nice Facility, Nice Location/ Three day Stay”
Alright, if you know one thing when you check in is that this is a time share condo facility. So, after you check in you will be guided to a concierge who has one goal: To get you emotionally relaxed so you will accept an invitation to hear about buying a time share. They will offer to help pay for your parking, etc, if you attend . I had to be firm, explain that I simply needed the keys to the room, but make no mistake about it, I had to be firm. If you're interested in such things great. For me, it's a waste of time. Everything else went very well. The valet parking ($36 day , which is normal for this part of town) was very good. The bellhop staff was efficient. The one bedroom condo was very nice with a well appointed kitchen. There are laundry facilities on each floor and the detergent is complimentary. The ice and vending machines are in the basement. They will bring clean towels if you call the front desk. There is no maid service, per se, unless requested. There's a local Walgreens to stock the fridge, just walk out the front door and go left a few blocks. There's even a yoga studio nearby and plenty of restaurants. The facility was quiet; we slept really well . As an alternative to a hotel, this was a pleasant surprise and a fair value. This was my first time renting a condo and I'd do it again. My wife was really pleased and she's used to me booking four and five star hotels.
“Exceptional Value and accomodations”
My husband and daughter and I just returned from a 2 night stay at the Wyndham Canterbury on Sutton St. in San Francisco and couldn't have been more satisfied with the location and accomodations. The hotel is located just a few blocks from Union Square. The Bell staff, Front Desk and Concierge were all very welcoming and accomodating. The building and apartments have all been renovated and decorated very tastefully to Wyndham standards. This one bedroom apartment (sleeps 4) was clean, beautiful and filled with all of the conveniences you would need on vacation (soaps, coffee, well-supplied kitchen, dishwasher, etc. . . ). The bedding was comfortable, the hotel is quiet and there is even a washer and dryer on the same floor available to guests free of charge. Don't hesitate to rent this apartment, the rental Manager was kind and easy to work with.
“4-Star Quality -- Location, Value and Customer Service”
Our four-girl getaway weekend was looking way over budget until we discovered this gem, just two blocks from Union Square and the cable cars, and three long blocks to the top of Nob Hill. The resort is a beautiful and thoughtful restoration of an old hotel, with reminders of bygone San Francisco styles, including an original (but modernized) elevator and a mural that hung in the original Canterbury lobby. We were delighted to have our condo upgraded to a larger one, and found the all-modern accommodations were truly first class (including the Bulgari toiletries!) You won't get daily maid service here, but you'll have plenty of space and the comforts of home. Our experience with the owner was efficient and easy, and we didn't encounter any issues or hidden charges during check-in or check-out. Also, a word about the staff. They are excellent at providing customer service! They must have great training to be able to provide this consistent level of service, and primarily to tourists/vacationers.
