“This is a fantastic location”

We stayed at Little Bay Barn for a week as a surprise for my husband's 50th Birthday. The location is quiet with fantastic views; the owner of the property is very welcoming with a wealth of knowledge of the area & gave advice on walks & places to eat & was very hospitable. The property was very homely & comfortable & seeing wildlife we don't normally see added to it. We would visited this property & area again.

“Very Good Hope to stay there again, Quite warm friendley owner n”

Very helpfull owner giving plenty of local detail, very nice place was a barn convertion with two first floor bedrooms and one ground floor bedroom, bathroom included wet room also bath wash basin and WC with another WC to the other side of the ground floor bedroom, also no passing traffic the area around the property had plenty of local wildlife everything was very good apart from two days of rain

“Brilliant close to nature experience”

Cottage was well appointed and pretty comfie.the bed was high but very Comfortable with plenty of pristine bedding.we were disappointed that the lovely wood stove was decorative rather than functional.it was one of the Criteria for the booking that we specially asked for .the heating was good but the stove would have made it more cosy.we have a stove at home so are spoilt.we also didn't find the seating in the sitting room was very comfy.I think The cottage was more suited to hikers or riders.we did enjoy our break and our hostess was very kind and helpful.the nature on the doorstep was lovely we especially loved the red squirrels and nuthatch
