Description

This is a sunny, light-filled, 1-bedroom vacation rental with 1 bathroom and a 3 star rating. It has a full kitchen, microwave, pellet stove operated by thermostat, free private high-speed wireless internet access, a 37-inch flat screen TV in the living room and a 23-inch flat screen in the bedroom. There is a Smart Blu-Ray Player with 4K capability in the living room and a DVD player in the bedroom and a stereo with an iPod dock. It also has a partial view of the Sherwin Mountains. This unit does not have a telephone. The living room has a modern queen fold-out couch that's actually comfortable to sleep on and the bedroom has a California King size bed. A 4-inch memory foam mattress is available for guest use, which is stored in the closet. There are 16 stairs to reach this unit and it is all one level inside. This unit sleeps up to 4 people. Walking to the Village Gondola from this unit is considered 3 blocks including a long steep driveway to reach Lake Mary Road. Unit managed under Mammoth Lakes Business Tax Certificate 864.

Loved all the amenities. Loved the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Loved the location. Loved the fireplace. The internet was sketchy at times.

“Quiet and Comfortable”

Night lights were available. An extra sink besides the one in the bathroom was a bonus. Since we are not used to a mattress on a box spring (feel like everything wobbles when one of us turns over), we liked using the pull-out sofa as an extra bed. The screens on all windows and doors were appreciated. The kitchen was fully equipped - only missed a peeler (for potatoes, cucumbers...) Very quiet condo in September. We were content staying here. The price was reasonable. Good, clean towels. Enough hangers, toilet paper, and paper roll. We tried to be good guests and used everything as carefully as we use our own house.

This was a very convenient location for our access to all Jazz Festival activities we wished to attend. I would have given this condo a 5 star rating if the kitchen had been more adequately appointed. I Needed to purchases several basic items in order to do the limited amount of cooking I chose to do. Items needed include but are not limited to rubber spatulas, cleaning sponges, complete sets of measuring cups and spoons, pizza pans, and coffee cups.

Please be advised that the unit above this location is privately owned by a couple with a young child.We have rented the unit below on two ocassions stradling Labor Day weekend & spent 4-5 days putting up with loud running back & forth,sliding chairs across the floor,2 dogs chasing the child,etc. til midnite or later each time. The parents apparantly don't believe in disipline or showing consideration for anyone staying in the unit below them. The unit it self is very comfortable & well kept & is in a very convenient location.Needs a new DVD player,but otherwise everything else was fine.So sad to have your vacation time disrupted by inconsiderate people. Please understand that the unit is a good value other than if you happen to be unlucky to rent when the upper unit isn't vacant.We have gone thru the Mammoth Reservation Bureau for many years & this situation was discussed with the manager who was very understanding & helpfull.

My wife and I go to the Jazz Jubilee each July; this is a wonderful location for the main venue of the festival - merely a walk down the hill
