“Thank you for a great vacation”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2014

We found ourselves at this unit by chance since our original rental was owned by cat owners and we have a family member who has very bad cat dander allergies. What a pleasant surprise. This unit is beautiful. Very tastefully remodeled and had all of the amenities of home. The only potential negative is the three flights of stairs you have to climb to get to it but the unit is so nice that it's worth it. Location is great. It's within walking distance to the new village area and village gondola. If our kids were older we would have walked it to get to the mountain. We'll be back!

“Great stay!”

Condo was terrific! Great location and perfect amount of space for my family.

“very nice redecoration, but...”

Very nicely redone. Great furniture and beds. Last year it was awful, this year great. Probs...heater in living room didn't work, all other heat units extremely noisy, dishwasher malfunctioned and ran all day while we were away. Gotta admit calls to the reservation and maintainance service were promptly and courteously handled. We were given a portable heater for the living room and the DW issue was being fixed upon our departure..

“uncomfortable”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2013

Great kitchen and baths, but awful sofa and very uncomfortable beds downstairs. Broken trundle, swaybacked plastic covered twin bed. Had to borrow boards to put under the mattress!

Response from the manager Thank you for your review! Due to feedback from guests, this homeowner will be replacing all beds in the unit this May. Look for a new Queen size bed in the bedroom and a King in the loft. We'll put new pictures up when the remodel is complete. We'll hope that you come for another visit to check out the place! Thank you again...

“Everything but the beds!”

Reviewed 15 Jan 2013

The unit was well located and well supplied with everything you would need to live comfortably (we cooked a full meal for 6 a couple of the nights). It is an easy 5-7 minute walk from the village & gondola. The spa and sauna are located about 50 yards from the unit as well. There were 6 adults in our party, and we never felt cramped. Everything is updated to modern amenities. There was ample firewood to keep the flames going for 4 days. The one problem was certainly the downstairs beds. They were absolutely horrible to be specific. The couch bed was so uncomfortable that we pulled the cushion off and slept with it on the ground. The two singles in the downstairs bedroom were pretty bad as well. I slept on all three beds so I feel I have experience to talk. The unit was very quiet and didn't have any other miscues minus the 3 downstairs beds. However, that's a pretty big issue when you want a comfy bed after being on the mountain all day. I would certainly stay here again if the owners put a little money towards a few new beds, but as of now this will be my last stay in this unit. The price was pretty good, but I'll pay more for a good nights sleep on vacation.
