MAT602B - This luxury 2BR condo is located on the sixth floor of the elegant Matapalo complex. It is beautifully done, fully equipped, and has a spectacular view of Tamarindo, Playa Grande, and the ocean. It is the lower floor of a full 4BR condo, so it can be rented either as a 2 or 4BR unit. The entire condo is air conditioned, but all of the windows and doors have screens on them as well if you want to enjoy the ocean breeze or the sounds of nature that surround you!

The condo has the light floating feeling of being in a dream. Cream-colored tile floors with round-pebble detail span the unit, spilling out of glass doors onto a patio that feels like it leads into thin air. The breathtaking view gives such a sensation of flying that you will find yourself reaching out for something to hold on to. Below lies an exotic tropical garden that surrounds the large free-form pool. In the near distance, Tamarindo beach, lined by royal palms stretches to meet the La Baula Estuary and National Park. The scene fades away in the distance as sky and sea melt into a kaleidoscope of clouds.

On the lower 2BR level there is a fully equipped state-of-the-art kitchen with beautiful granite counter tops that adjoins the living area. Efficiently compact and practical, the kitchen includes a flattop electric stove, oven, large double-door refrigerator with an ice dispenser, a dishwasher and all the necessary items to create and enjoy your favorite meals. A small and comfortable washroom is located between the kitchen and the main door.

Arched doorways with classic columns lead from the main living area to two bedrooms located on this lower level. Each room is flooded with natural light, has spacious closets, and its own private bath. The bedroom located on the front side of the building has two sets of sliding glass doors; one leading to the common terrace and another that opens onto a private patio and a panoramic birds-eye-view. The bedroom on the other side has large windows that survey the rolling hills and coastline to the south. The living area has a queen sized sleeper sofa.

Below, an enormous swimming pool of organic design is the center of the garden area and boasts a swim up bar which you won’t want to miss. Across the street an oceanfront restaurant is preparing tropical delicacies to add sweetness and spice to the memories you will carry with you for a lifetime. Customers of this condo have exclusive use of the hotel amenities.

“Tamarindo in August”

Excellent accomadation for our family of four, with spectacular views, a wonderful pool, and easy access to Tamarindo's beach and many fine restaurants. The weather was a pleasant surprise-- only a couple rainy days in 2 weeks, despite this being the "green" season

Our first trip to Costa Rica was wonderful in many respects, but this condo was a big part of it. I rarely give out five stars for anything but I would have given more if available. The drive up down a rough road was decieving in that the building and ground are immaculate. The condo had venetian plaster, granite, was truly beautiful. The view from the sixth floor over tamarindo beach was breath taking. FYI, next time your in Dallas Texas check out my steakhouse, Chamberlains Chop House.
