“The place to stay”

Reviewed 14 Mar 2013

Great location: just a short walk to the gondola. Great View: 4th floor balcony with super views of the ski slopes. This unit is furnished beautifully including 2 LCD Tv's.

“Wonderful location and we hope to be back soon!”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2013

We booked via Vrbo and were very pleased with the direct dealings with owner Patti. She seems very flexible and willing to accommodate the requests we made for the days before Christmas 2012! Thank you so very much Patti, we appreciate it very much! Patti her unit is well equipped and beautifully located overlooking the gondola and slopes, which made for wonderful views and "window watching". We discussed our findings of a broken ice maker, not well functioning shower head and uncomfortable bed couch with Patti, and do not doubt for her to have taken immediate actions to resolve these issues. Thank you again for the pleasant dealings Patti, we hope to be back in your unit one day soon.

“Beautiful Place”

Reviewed 27 Dec 2012

The condo is in a great location and 8902 looks out upon the slopes and can see most everything going on in River Run. There aren't any negatives that I can think of...over all, it was exactly what we were looking for.

“You can't go wrong with this condo”

Reviewed 13 Mar 2012

This condo surpassed our expectations. The unit is perfectly clean, very nicely furnished, a good size for two people (maybe a little crowed with 3), beautiful view of the mountain, very short walk to gondola, fantastic amenities in the building such as covered and heated parking, ski lockers downstairs, two great hot-tubs and a heated pool, workout facilities, etc. The best part, however, was just how nice and clean and comfortable the unit was. There are a lot of cable TV channels if you want to watch TV, a good amount of kitchen stuff if you want to cook, etc. Booking a unit online you are never quite sure what you are getting. I can say that in this case you will not be disappointed. This is a case where the pictures just can't quite capture how nice the unit is.

“Just my son and I !”

Reviewed 26 Jan 2012

I've been going to Keystone with my now 16yrs old son for 6 yrs.We started going to the next door condo building over at the Red Hawk.I was happy with that until I stayed at The Springs the last 2yrs.Not even close,a far 2nd place to this condo.50yrds away is better than 100yds when you've skied all day and are tired. The personal storage lockers are excellent drop off on the way the the elevador,I dont remember if Red Hawk had much of anything. Our room on the 4th floor over looking slopes was awesome, with private balcony even better. Our condo and the very friendly owner was really nice.Skyrun reality left my keys to room and underground garage key outside in lock box when we arrived late to resort from Maryland to Denver to keystone. My only problem was the weather, sad but true icy conditions w/out much snow. The monday i left second weekend of Jan.2012 they started getting some snow.Thank god for good snow making or it could have been really ugly. I hope the owner reads this review and contacts me so we can set up same time same everything for next year, just hope snow is better next year. Ps.bring swim suit they have 2 awesome out door hot tubs. Also the pool and pool table, mini staduim theather etc.

“Awesome Place to Stay!”

Reviewed 22 Aug 2011

This room was perfect for my family and I! We have 3 in our family and were also able to bring my mother along and have her stay with us in the condo! It was a perfect size for us! There was plenty of room for my 3 year old to play with his toys and still be able to walk around. I would recommend this to any small family that wants a great place to stay.

“Fantastic Condo for Families with Children”

Reviewed 19 Aug 2011

Very comfortable, has all the ammenities needed. Great pool, play area for kids. Right at base of mountain. Shops and restaurants within a 3 minute walk. Can't wait to go back next year.

“Spectacular Location”

Reviewed 31 Mar 2011

Beautiful, clean condo in excellent location with incredible view!

“Comfortable”

Reviewed 24 Feb 2011

Unit was both conveniently located to main lift and comfortable. Availability of ski lockers was great as was their location. For families with young children in ski school, it it logistically a well positioned complex. The teenagers enjoyed the pool and hot tub after a day on the slopes. Check-out time a little too early.

“Skiing trip from the UK to Keystone”

Reviewed 19 Jan 2011

If you go skiing in Colorado and appreciate fantasticly groomed slopes, great lift service without queues, affordable food and drink and ideal accomodation - then Keystone is the place. We've travelled out from the UK to Colorado many times to ski, staying at Breckenridge (twice), Copper Mountain, Beaver Creek and Steamboat (twice). This is our second stay at Keystone and we would rate the Keystone mountain the best. The blue runs are more challenging than the other mountains, the groomed blacks are stunning. If you don't want groomed, there's plenty of other more challenging stuff on and off piste. Having skiied most of the Colorado ski resorts, Keystone and Steamboat are in our opinion the best, with Beaver a close third. Breckenridge for us has the best town, but this is easily reached by car or bus. There are still plenty of shops/bars and restaurants in Keystone to keep you busy for the length of any stay. As for The Springs - this is actually better than the web-site or photos would have you believe. The views are great, the hot tubs and pool are probably the best we've seen. If you want convenience and a great resort to ski - this is highly recommended. Worth travelling the atlantic for.
