“Awesome Condo”

Reviewed 9 Jan 2017

Condo looked to be recently remodeled. Was in excellent condition. Steps down to the beach were in the process of being replaced. We had to use the steps in the complex next door which was only a minor inconvenience. We will definitely re-book for next year. Highly recommended.

“Great location, great remodel, terrible bed.”

This townhome is in an awesome location. Blue Mountain is great, but even beyond that it is literally 4 steps from the boardwalk and directly gulf front. There are some steps to get down to the beach (65 - my son counted) but it's not as bad as it seems. The home is totally remodeled and is fantastic. Comfortable, clean, well appointed. The only draw back is the master bedroom bed. It is terrible. The room is huge - the bed, not even a queen size and the mattress is very uncomfortable. Change the bed and this place would be perfect!

“A Rest Stop For Heaven”

Santa Rosa Beach, FL Sea Bluff Townhomes 002 We decided to spend Christmas at the ocean this past year. We had originally reserved another location, but when we got there; it was being painted; so they moved our accommodations to the Sea Bluff Town Home 002. What a pleasant surprise! I felt like I could stay there for ever.(I would love to live here). It was very comfortable and we had a spectacular view of the ocean, as well as, being able to hear the surf crashing. What a way to be lulled to sleep every night!! Our family hopes to be able to return soon.

“Not what I expected”

Reviewed 12 Mar 2009

I booked in September my end of the year get away with Abbott Realty and requested my favorite condo at Blue Mountain Villas that I have stayed in for years. I booked my reservation for my favorite unit and looked forward to my ringing in of the New Year there. I had also invited some friends to come and they were staying in the same complex. When I arrived at B.M.V. it was dark. The first thing I do upon arrival is open the sliding glass door to hear and smell the ocean.. My door was sealed shut and it appeared to have something covering the outside. The next morning I tried again to open the door. No Luck. I called the office and they sent a maintainance person. He couldn't get it open either. In the light of day I could see that there was plastic covering the sliding glass door, the bistro table and chairs that I was looking forward to perching on were gone. There was a ladder on the deck. I could see the ocean and beach only through the cloudy plastic that had sealed me tight into the condo. Not what I was expecting. I went to the Abbott Office and they apologized and said there was nothing they could do. My choice was to either stay there and admire the ocean through the plastic wrapped window or they could move me. The thought of being saran wrapped in my condo was not appealing. They said they could put me at the Sea Bluff Townhouse. I have stayed here before. The view is great, the condo is a bit out dated and could use some cleaning of the vents. It is certainly adequate but it was not where I wanted to be. I had to pack and once again lug myself out of the other condo and then unload again into the Sea Bluff unit which took up more than half of my first day. I was only staying for 4 nights so those days away are at a premium. Sea Bluff is a nice sized condo for a family and offers a quiet setting which is what draws me to the Blue Mountain Beach. It's a bit big for 2 people as was the case with my party. Abbott gave me a free night.
