“Perfect location, home from home”
I stayed here with my husband and 9 year old stepson. We really enjoyed our stay and felt welcomed by the owner. It's a great location close to 3 metro stations and several bus routes, it's on a quiet street with a village feel to it, with the noise and crowds of the Sacre Couer a ten minute stroll away!
“Great stay for New Year's Eve”
This was a perfect apartment to experience the joy of New Year's Eve in the Montmartre. Steps from the wonderful market street of Rue abesses, this 2 room apartment was plenty big to host 7 people for a feast of oysters, foie gras, and other delicious goods from the neighborhood. It is also just a short walk to the 9th where great stores and restaurants await on Rue Des Martrys. Conveniently located to the Metro as well. Jean-Francois was a great host; very responsive to emails in advance and met us right on time when we moved in. Would love to return for a longer stay next time.
“Our home away from home during our month in Paris”
Under an hour until we leave this apartment that became our 'home away from home'. We arrived on the 1st of July and we leave today, the 31st. What a great experience, one that we'll treasure always. The apartment is in a safe location (which was very important for me since I brought my teens & twenty year old) that is perfectly situated to be near 2 Metros (Blanche & Abbesses) and easy walks to all that Montmartre has to offer (which is a lot--food, history, Sacre Coeur, ...). It's a walk up but only 2 short flights. There's plenty of space to find space for all your things too. The washer was great & the drying rack is large enough to hang each days wash easily. The shower/tub was large in size and although we found the separate toilet unique to start it was very convenient in the end. We didn't eat in as much as we thought but having the stove top & microwave for the times we wanted to were great. We also didn't use a ton of dishes and found the amount here to work for us too. We didn't meet Jean Francois personally but he was in touch throughout our stay and his parents helped us check in when we arrived. They were lovely and very helpful. Also the reason we didn't talk more with him because we didn't have to. No issues. Having watched a lot of 'House Hunter International' we knew apartments in Paris were small and as I said above this was more than large enough for 4 of us to live and not get in each others way. There are some 'living noises' but that's what you get in any apartment and it added, for us, to the charm and overall experience. What more can I say... we loved it. Recommend it. And when we can do it again we most definitely will. So, Jean Francois (and your parents), thank you for making Constance's Friend our Home in Paris. Merci! :)
“Home away from home in Paris”
We only stayed for two nights, but would have enjoyed staying longer if it were possible. The apartment is exactly as described, much larger than the hotel room we stayed in on our last visit to Paris! Comfortable bed, great to be able to do a load of washing, good water pressure in the shower, friendly neighbors, fantastic location. Jean-Francois met us on time, was available if we needed anything, and booked a taxi for our early morning departure. Would definitely stay again.
“Perfect location and great service”
This apartment was perfect. Jean-Franois is quick to give you information that you require. Has all the amenities listed and is easy to work with. No problem with deposit reimbursement. Perfect location if you want to stay in the 18th arrondissement. Clean, close to subway and great neighbourhood.
Very comfortable, clean and convenient apartment. Restaurants, boulangeries, cafes and grocery shops all close by. Highly recommended.
The apartment was wonderful and in a great location. Jean-Francoise was a terrific host! We would definitely stay again next time we are in Paris!
“Something for all”
This was a great apartment for all ages. We were able to stroll the streets by day with our family, then go out at night to adult entertainment. We felt safe day and late late at night! We loved the quiet apartment and the fact that 50 m away was a bustling street full of restaurants, food vendors, stores, and of course bakeries! Everything is exactly as the advertisement says and the personal service of Jean-Francois has to be experienced. He was very helpful and has lots of extra information to give. A lively and diverse neighborhood, our only regret is that we could not stay longer!
“A comfortable and convenient place to stay”
We were greeted on our arrival in a really helpful and friendly way. Our hosts helped us to book a restaurant and a taxi. The apartment was very clean and well equipped having a separate toilet and bathroom. The kitchen area is modern but with well preserved and accented original features such as stain glass windows. The beds were comfortable and with a double bed settee the accommodations offers flexibility. The location is excellent being in a quiet side road but only a minute from a lovely, bustling cafe and shopping area. We thought it was the nicest part of Montmartre being busy and thriving but not inundated with tourists. We could easily buy our morning bread, get a coffee etc or any other things we needed for the day ahead. It is only a short walk to abbesses Metro station which is worth seeing in itself. We had a lovely stay here and would recommend it.
“Hassle-free stay in beautiful location”
The apartement was living up to the expectation of being clean, secure and amazingly quiet for its location. 5 Min walk to Metro station and 10 to the Sacre Coeur! Shops are on the way to the station which makes it easy to get supplies and restaurants are plenty around. The service by the owner was friendly, reliable, on time, all questions were answered within no time and information given was accurate. Refund of deposit was prompt. Could not speak more highly about the place, it certainly made the stay in Paris enjoyable and without any hassle.
