Located in the town of Canmore, 5 minutes from the eastern gates to Banff National Park. One hour west of Calgary. A great central location you can walk to dozens of stores and restaurants. The mountain views and fantastic location are what set this property apart from most others.

We are open to single family vacation or business trip rentals. We are looking for people to book that live within driving distance of Canmore.

While we love our international guests, we currently are not renting this summer out to people where the border could still be closed preventing access.

As of May 2020 we do not know what services/amenities will be open in town or near by.

A more expensive set of mattresses on the beds than you get in your typical hotel room (the owner knows what it is like to have a bad back and how much a decent mattress can help). There are books in the suite about popular hikes, a picnic basket, cork screw, a lot of little things other places don't have.

Upon arrival at the property you use an electronic key combination to enter the heated (important in winter months) underground parking garage. Drive to your own dedicated parking stall. Behind you is your own storage cage if you have sports equipment, such as, bikes or ski equipment.

Enter your access code in to the elevator to make it to the 4th floor where the condo is located. On this floor is also the workout room. Go up a flight of stairs to the shared roof top hot tub. There are two roof top hot tubs and one indoor hot tub. That you will have access to.

Use your unique code to access the condo and then set the code to a 3 to 6 digit code that you and people you are traveling with will remember.

When you enter the condo the kitchen is to your left. Dining area and great room with fantastic views toward the Three Sisters Mountain Range are straight ahead. To the right is the main floor bedroom and bathroom.

The main floor bathroom has a sink, tub/shower and toilet. There is a blow dryer here. We provide towels and while we suggest guests bring their own toiletries we provide basic soap.

The main floor bedroom has queen size bed. This room has a smaller window that looks over the balcony to the mountains. There is a closet with a Pac'N'Play play pen. There is also a dresser.

The kitchen has a dish washer, microwave, fridge (with ice maker) and stove/oven. We do have a blender. There are pots, plates, utensils to keep most people happy. In fact, we've received extra thank you notes for having higher end utensils than most other places (for those chefs who appreciate such things).

The dining area has a table and chairs for 6 people.

The great room has extra large windows that look out to the mountains. There is a leather sofa bed (queen size - the mattress is okay but as in any type of sofa bed it isn't as luxurious as the mattresses on the actual beds in this condo). There is a leather chair and coffee table surround the large coffee table. There is a gas fire place and 42" HD TV.

To the right (facing the direction you come in to the condo from) is a balcony the comfortable fits/seats 4 people. The balcony looks out to the mountains and has a propane Weber BBQ.

To the right of the balcony door is a staircase up to the loft. The loft has a queen size bed. There is also a large soaker bath tub (great for bathing kids or works well for a couples getaway). There is also a vanity (sink and mirror).

You have access to another full bathroom in the workout room down the hall. While this workout room is shared amoungst the building residents it isn't used very often and once in this bathroom it is private (you can lock the door). This gives access to another shower and toilet.

NO SMOKING inside - you can smoke on the balcony.

Getting around

Once at the condo our location is extremely walkable to downtown Canmore, its stores, and restaurants. You can take public/private transportation to get to the condo but to truly enjoy a stay out in the Canadian Rockies you need a car to easily visit most places tourists want to go.

Interaction with guest

We rent 3 nights minimum so if you are interested in renting and want the place vacant for a night or two in between then insert a one or two night rental in between your arrival and the first booking before your stay. We live in Ontario, Canada. We have a local property manager who can make it onsite quickly for any property emergencies. We will respond fairly quickly between 7am to 7pm Mountain Time (local time to the condo). Once you book you get our cell numbers so can reach us 24/7 in case of emergency.

Response from the owner We are so sorry that you had a problem with noise in our condo complex. It is a condo and noise does travel but there are strict noise restrictions and any excessive noise can be reported to the building manager and violators will be fined and possibly evicted. So that other guests are aware the hot tub and fitness areas are open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM only. People would really have to be loud to be heard from the hot tub area on the roof down to our condo and building management would respond to a call. Their number is located in a number of common areas throughout the building. The fitness area has no free weights which could be 'clanky'. You don't hear people who are using the treadmills, or Nautilus machine in a normal fashion. I've let building management know about the issue. We've never had a noise complaint before or after so far. Typically the condo unit is in a great location because no one can be above or on the right side of you after 10:00 PM or before 7:00 AM. Thank you for your honest review and we hope you will stay in our condo again.
