“#8/14 Old Compton Street, London”

We really enjoyed our week staying at #8/14 Old Compton Street, London. The apartment is well cared for and very well located. Most days we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. One night we went to a West End show, The Commitments, and were back at the apartment in just a few minutes. We were particularly impressed with Michelle’s organisation and promptness with each communication, from initial enquiry through to booking, then to organising meeting us on arrival at the apartment and to our check-out arrangements. This is the first time we have organised a booking online for accommodation outside Australia and we were very impressed with every aspect of our dealings with Michelle.

We recently stayed at this flat and the location is perfect! The flat is even better then the pictures! Michelle was a dream to work with. We will be staying here everytime we visit London from now on.

The flat was well appointed with comfortable furniture, appliances and kitchen utencils. We had a problem with the shower and it was handled quickly (within 3 hours) and totally to our satisfaction. The location was exceptional, its in the heart of Soho and the theater district there are restaurants galore to enjoy (and since its in the theater district the restaurants are open all day). Compton street is a bustling street but the flat is in the back so we were never disturbed by street sounds. My only caution is (like most european apartments) there is no lift so if you are in poor health -think twice.

The property is clean, well-equipped and maintained and surprisingly quiet for the area. The local is ideal for theatre and central London generally. Some couples may find it on the small side, but otherwise perfect for a longish stay.

“Excellent Soho apartment - Perfect location”

We were attracted to this apartment by the central location, the appeal of the outside deck, the extensive facilities and the list of highly rating reviews. We enjoyed a fantastic week in early June 2011 and the apartment certainly delivered in all aspects - we would rate as "excellent”. London is a great city for exploring on foot and the Soho address was the perfect central location to see all the major attractions. We were able to walk everywhere and also have the option of the convenient public transport to return back "home”. In addition there is an amazing choice of entertainment and food outlets right at your doorstep. The large opening doors to the deck give the apartment a great atmosphere. Soon after arriving, we were enjoying champagne and strawberries sitting out on the deck. We also made use of the kitchen facilities in the apartment to prepare some meals to have outside. All of the facilities and furnishings made the apartment feel very comfortable. The safe and the fast WiFi internet were much appreciated. Despite the hive of activity down below on the streets, the apartment was very quiet. There was no noise at all - all very secure. Although on the 4th floor, we found that the stairs were easy to use. At all stages of interaction with the owner - from booking to pre and post arrival - we were kept well informed and instructed, which made us feel comfortable with our choice. Thankyou for contributing to our brilliant week in London.
