“Wouldn't Recommend”

Reviewed 23 Aug 2015

The best thing about this place is the location. Because it was clean and neat, I gave it two stars, but everything was minimal and we did not feel the welcome we expected in a vacation rental. It is rather dark, lights needed even at noon, and lamps with 60 watt bulbs just do not provide enough right for reading comfortably on the couch. Perhaps in the winter, with leaves off the trees, it is lighter. Expect directions for connecting to wi fi would have been appreciated. There was an extra step we were ignorant of and we were very frustrated before talking to the nice person at the lobby desk (who was quick to point out that she had no responsibility for our condo). There was no listing of TV channels, and it irritating to have to go through 50-odd channels to find the one you wanted. Even cheap motels provide this! An unworkable blind in the smaller bedroom (mentioned by an earlier renter) needs to be fixed. One SMALL soap per bathroom? Cheesy. How about one for shower and one for sink? One bathroom sink and one shower are plumbed backward...not a deal breaker, but irritating. The two-slice toaster only worked on the outside panels....if you wanted both sides toasted, you had to flip the bread and toast again. And only one dish towel?? We found a second one in the housekeeping closet with a sign saying "please do not use". There are not enough dishes. With just six plates, six salad plates and five salad bowls, if this place is filled to capacity, someone must always be wishing dishes! No cereal bowls or odd containers of leftovers. One ice tray? not enough. Most mornings we found water from the refrigerator on the kitchen floor (also mentioned by an earlier renter). And where was the French door refrigerator?? Last....but certainly not least....a queen-sized blanket DOES NOT WORK on a king-sized bed! All these things are so easily...cad cheaply....fixed, and would be far more welcome to a renter; it is a shame to pull this condo down by not doing them. As it is, I would not recommend it.

Place and location were great for access to Main Street restaurants and shopping. Only one problem, the toilette in the master bathroon would not flush and even though were were notified it would be fixed it never happend for the nights we were there! There were also many lights with dead light bulbs so no light and no flushes!

Response from the manager Dear Rich, Thank you for choosing to stay at Main Street Park Station this summer and for sharing your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that the property was clean, well furnished and comfortable and that you enjoyed your vacation. Park Station is indeed centrally located in downtown Park City and we’re pleased to know that access and location were also enjoyed. I do apologize that the toilet plugged during your stay and that it wasn’t addressed. Since our maintenance staff is responsive & efficient, I revisited our communications and identified the likely issue. When you said you contacted building maintenance, you contacted the on-site building management, instead of us, which is likely the reason why it wasn’t fixed. Owners have transitioned to other management companies because of this fact, but regardless, we’re sorry that it was an inconvenience for you and your group. Thank you again for your insight and business. We hope you elect to visit Park City again. Best Regards, Anna Park City Vacation Properties Inc., iTrip

“Location great, unit not so much”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2014

Where do I start... the code was wrong for the front door when we checked in, waiting for them to get back to us for over an hour. Then the wifi code was wrong--waited 24 hours for them to respond. There is the absolute minimal amount of utensils and cooking supplies, the twin beds are brutal. Half the plumbing fixtures are reversed, not working... whatever. Location is unbeatable though.

Response from the manager Thank you for choosing to stay at our Main Street Park Station property this summer and for sharing your feedback. We do apologize that the door and Wi-Fi code were incorrect upon you arrival. We regularly change property codes – especially during the high seasons – for security purposes and I’m sorry the new information wasn’t re-sent to you. We will also be sure to share with the Owner that more cookware and flatware is needed. Thank you again, for your business and review. We hope you choose to visit Park City again. “good location, a do-it-yourself rental experience.”

Reviewed 7 Apr 2014

The pluses: Park Station is good location being 1 block from the town lift, and near restaurants and shops. Outdoor hot tub complex and pool are excellent. Furniture and decor are fine. Minus's: Unit water system is in dire need of a softener. Found all utensils and pans to be covered with a fine white film. Washing them did not help. If you plan to cook, pots and pans are a bare minimum. Not even a broiler pan. Perhaps because of the residue problem, nobody else cooks. Cabinets stripped bare. No items such as sugar, oil, spices, tissues, etc. Salt, pepper, and some coffee filters were it. Service essentially consisted of a pre-arrival email with the security codes for entry. Absolutely no helpful information supplied inside the condo--you are on your own to figure things out. Park City Vacation Properties is closed on the weekend which seems odd for a tourist destination. I ordered some groceries from a service, but since we were coming in on Saturday, they had a great deal of trouble connecting with Park City rentals to gain access before our arrival. Abundant signs all over the complex about how you must have a parking permit or your vehicle will be towed. When no permit could be found, all we could do was leave a message on the emergency number and send an email asking for help. Did receive a text message back the next day explaining where they were hidden. Again no information sheet at all in the condo, so you are on your own to figure out what to do with trash, how to check out, what the deal is with pool towels (you are not entitled to them, because you are not on the regular rental program), recommended eating places, how to find the lift etc. In summary, Park Station is a convenient location. If you are a do-it-yourselfer, you probably will be OK. If you like to cook for yourself, however, I can not recommend this unit due to the water problem and the lack of cooking amenities.

Response from the manager Dear Jeffrey, Thank you for posting your feedback and for choosing to stay with us at our Main Street Park Station property. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed the property and found it well situated for your trip. Information pertaining to the property, help center items, travel recommendations, dining, shopping, etc. are all available online through our iTrip booking software and also can be found on the iTrip Travel App. I apologize that this was not made clear to you and that it proved to be difficult during your vacation. Since you shared your feedback, we have updated our booking messages to better highlight this information. Unfortunately, Park City does have hard water, which causes a white residue to build on cookware. We will revisit this item with the HOA and the Owners and we will do our best to rectify the situation. Thank you again for you business and review. We hope you choose to visit Park City again. “Perfect first-time visit to Park City”

Reviewed 3 Oct 2013

Great condo for our group of 5 for almost a week for our first time in Park City. Superb location, easy parking, very responsive and helpful agent and front desk staff. The kitchen, eating area and living room were a nice size so our group could spread out. Very clean and everything worked as expected. We would definitely recommend this to others!

Response from the manager Dear Karen, Thank you for posting your feedback and for choosing to stay with us at our Main Street Park Station property at the bottom of Park City Mountain Resort. We would completely agree that the location is superb with convenient access to parking, which is at a premium in Park City. I am very pleased to hear that you found the condo to be very clean, comfortable and spacious for you and your entire group. To know that the service you experienced was helpful and responsive is both pleasing to hear and reflective of Park City. Many thanks for your informative and kind review. We appreciate your feedback, so that we may continue to improve upon our properties and service for future guests. We look forward to your return in the New Year. Perfect location! Pool, hot tub, Main Street and trails all right outside your door!! Nicely remodeled condominium. Would come back again in a heartbeat! Hiking was amazing and the ride into the valley very easy. Weather was beautiful ! Warm in the day and beautifully cool at night.

“Spectacular”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2013

The renovation of the unit was very accommodating for me and my friends. The location is second to none. Walking to the "park silly" market on Sunday. Clubs and restaurants all in a couple minute walk. The pool was not crowded all in all a perfect get away
