We loved everything about this place except for 2 things: It only had 1 very small frying pan. (We went to Walmart and bought one to cook with) Also the 2nd day we were there, the police raided one of the condos underneath ours and it was pretty frightening with questions and guns and the kicking in of a door. That obviously is not typical for the area and not the fault of the owner, but it still was not the type of thing you want to deal with on a family vacation.

Response from the manager Dear Greg, Thank you for choosing to stay at our Red Pine 2 Bedroom Condo in Park City and for sharing your feedback. We are very pleased to hear that you loved everything about the place, expect for the need for extra cookware. I am surprised to hear that there wasn’t more than one frying pan in the unit, especially since we have been replacing cookware & flatware in all our properties – but things do sometimes go missing, so our apologies for not noticing that fact. As you said, Police raids are definitely not typical for Park City, but regardless, we’re sorry that you had to see it unfold. Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback. We hope you choose to visit Park City again. Best Regards, Anna Park City Vacation Properties Inc., iTrip

“Nice location, great views, needs updating”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2014

The views from the deck were the best feature of this rental. They were outstanding and very much undersold. We enjoyed apres ski there every day. The furniture was dated and cheap making it less than comfortable. The cleaning crew did a marginal job (we found dirty socks under one bed and dirty dishes in the cabinets) but the bathrooms were clean. The unit is not walkable to the lift as advertised. Five blocks in ski boots is too far. Overall, we were happy with it as it was spacious, met our needs and was a good value.

Response from the manager Dear Devon, Thank you for choosing staying at our Red Pine 2 Bedroom Condo in Park City and for sharing your feedback. We are pleased to know that your vacation was memorable and that the property met your needs and was of good value. We appreciate your feedback on updating the property – you are not the first. As we enter the spring season, we will be presenting all Guest feedback to the Owners for consideration. The views from the condo deck are pretty great and we should highlight it better. We try not to overdo the description or enhance the property photos because we want the guest to have reasonable expectations of the property. Thanks for taking the time to post your feedback and for your business. We hope you visit Park City again. Best Regards, Anna Park City Vacation Properties Inc.,

“Rugged but sufficient”

Reviewed 24 Jan 2014

Setting up the condo with itrip was easy and efficient. Pictures of the unit were accurate. All appliances worked, and there were clean linens. The place was basic and good for a ski retreat, but not high end. It was reasonably priced and conveniently located to the club house. It was quite a treck to the slopes/Cabriot Gondola or bus, so recommend a car.

Response from the manager Dear Beth, Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback and for staying with us at our Red Pine 2 Bedroom Condo in Park City just below Canyons Resort. We are pleased to hear that the reservations process was quick and painless; it is something that we pride ourselves on and are happy to know that it was efficient and simple. The property is dated and basic, but it is good to hear that it met you and your group’s needs and that you found the property photos to be an honest reflection of the home. The clubhouse is definitely close to this property and the recommendation of a car is a good one, especially if you are looking to explore Park City and for ease of access to all venues. Thank you again for your business and detailed review; it is essential for us to improve upon our services. We look forward to your return to Park City. “An unfortunate disappointment.”

Reviewed 9 Oct 2013

Unfortunately, this rental fell short in every way. It claimed to be a 5 minute walk to the gondola. It was not. We ended up driving up the hill each day to the gondola and services at the base area. Also, the pool and hot tubs were closed. No where in the advertisement did it say the pools would be closed. A very big disappointment to this family with 2 children expecting to be able to swim. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. Every time you roll over, the springs squeak. And hopefully you like who you are sharing your bed with because you will be rolling down into them all night long. There were not enough towels (we were a party of 5) and no bath mats on the bathroom floors. Also, one of the first things my husband noticed was urine stains on the front of the toilet. Suffice it to say, we wore house shoes in the condo the whole time. If you like visiting the 1970's, this condo is for you! We however, will not be back.

Response from the manager Dear Jen, Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. I sincerely apologize that your family’s stay fell short of your expectations. As a result your feedback, we have posted additional information on our description about the Clubhouse and amenities to ensure that this mistake does not happen again. Although the property may be dated with the décor and finishing’s, we always ensure that the home is clean and that there are enough linens, towels and hardware to accommodate the maximum number of guests allowed and then some. To hear that the property was unclean is shocking and it is something that we have taken up with our housekeeping provider. With regards to the properties location, other Guests have reviewed it and found it to be well situated and accessible. The condo unit is further removed from the main road; however, it does offer more privacy that way compared to others and it does back onto the countryside with the barn and horses grazing in the pasture. Again, I am sorry that your experience was disappointing to you and your family, but I do thank you for your time and insight. If you would like to follow-up further, I would be pleased to do so. Best Regards, Anna Park City Vacation Properties Inc.,

“Great Value”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2013

This condo had ample room for our family of four to stay in Park City. Of course, we would arrive while the temperatures were above normal. With no aC, it got a little warm (but not unbearable) during the day, but cooled down nicely in the evening. There were some box/window fans to help. We stayed in the downstairs master and the kids stayed upstairs. They loved having their own space. We got to use the gas grill on the patio to cook some meals saving lots of money on eating out. The pool at the clubhouse is not heated, but with the heat wave going on, felt pretty nice. The view out the back is a barn and pasture of horses, then countryside behind - beautiful! All in all, this was a perfect place for our family - reasonably priced and great location. The Canyons Resort is right up the road and we had fun riding the Gondola, Zip lines, hiking and even playing miniature golf. And, anywhere in Park City is a short drive away. We would definitely stay here again!

“Inexpensive property - Good Value”

Reviewed 11 Jul 2013

We arrived late in the evening. The unit doesn't have a/c and it was boiling hot inside. We searched around for anything to cool the place down, and finally found some fans in a closet - but no extension cords and the plugs were in all the wrong places. Overall it suited us fine. The beds were below average. I think the cleaning fee is excessive - especially because they have you pull all the linens off the beds and take out the trash yourself, etc. Anyway, for the price, it was a good value. But don't expect a nice condo. It's... well... average.
