“Exceptional multi-family cabin for any occasion”
Exceptional multi-family cabin for any occasion (reunion, retreat, vacation, etc.)! Held a family reunion here with all my siblings and kids, quite comfortably fitting eleven of us with plenty of room for more. Quaint log-style cabin with abundant room for family dining, relaxing, and playing. Also a separate bathroom available for each sleeping area! Awesome wrap-around porch was perfect for a sunrise coffee or sunset cocktail. Lower patio with a grill area and fire pit for scary storytelling while roasting marshmallows and watching the fireflies go by. 360 degree views of beautiful Kentucky countryside. We were there for the 4th of July and had great views of fireworks all around. Even enjoyed some of our own fireworks from the safety of the gravel driveway (after obtaining pre-approval from the property owners and reviewing local regulations). Hike down the hill and fish at the little pond or just past the little pond to the bigger “Hidden Lake”. Blue gill, largemouth bass, and catfish were very active! Beautiful strolls around the large property and along the surrounding country roads. 10 minutes up or down the road to convenient shopping for basic needs, and only a few minutes further for larger stores and restaurants in Hopkinsville. We used the cabin as a base to travel to Mammoth Cave, Nashville, and a day of boating/swimming/fishing at nearby Lake Barkley. The owners were outstanding in responding to all our questions and needs before we got there and after arrival, and were very thoughtful in recommendations. If you are looking for a large, adorable, affordable place away from it all or as a jumping point to further exploration, this is it!
Response from the owner Thank you for your thoughtful review. It was wonderful having you and your family as guests!
“So glad we found this property!”
Everything was great! The hosts were extremely helpful with all questions and it seemed they were a shot distance away if there was a reason we needed something. They even purchased a new grill and charcoal for our groups stay! Were definitely willing to go the extra mile :) The house was perfect for our group of 7 and the views were amazing!
“Better than the pics!”

“Relax on the wrap around porch!”
My family stayed a week at the cabin in late June, early July 2013. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was gorgeous and the wrap around porch was great for hanging out. We were able to watch all of the 4th of July fireworks in Hopkinsville from the porch! It rained while we were there but it didn't matter. It was cool sitting on the porch watching the thunderstorms roll by. Cooking was a breeze in the large kitchen. Everything we needed was there. The bedrooms were comfortable and it was great for everyone to have their own bathroom.
