Listed as ski, ski out. It was not. The unit was dirty and needed updating. When the toilet overflowed, housekeeping came and left dirty toilet paper still on the floor. Nasty. Online picture only showed a granite countertop, so one would assume it was updated. One window in the bedroom actually had a one inch gap from window to framing. Bedroom was constantly freezing because of the large open gap. Mini fridge in kitchen, not even full size. It froze half of our perishables. A lot of $ for poor stay. When we checked in we were told we had to pay $25 per night for overnight parking and directed to a parking lot near the condo. Upon leaving the lot we found out it was actually $2 an hour and the $25 a day lot was further away. Person checking us in had no clue, she even circled the incorrect lot to park in. Never going back.
Response from the manager We apologize for the inconvenience of the toilet issue. This is truly a comfortable condo. WE hope you come back and stay.
The condo is well located ...it is rather in need of a complete redo..the carpet felt stiff & dirty. Not at all hygienic to have carpet in the bathroom. None of the blinds would pull up..all broken at the backs...surely this could be fixed so one could see the beautiful Mountains...I had to tie up the blinds everyday. Not good enough! We did mention it to the Lodging Company...hope it is addressed for future guests. After trying out 2 dehumidifiers we went into the Lodging Comoany & complained...a new one was delivered. On opening the drawer to fetch the table mats one was filthy, a cracked & broken coffee mug amongst the random dishes...Not good enough fior what we paid. We've stayed at Palmyra before, also our friends...all different condos...this would have to be the worst...the fridge is impossible to stock...shelves won't adjust & can't turn it down... All our veges froze solid as did the milk... Look carefully...the pics look great online ...Don't be deceived .
“Make this your last choice”
Palmyra unit 3H Unit is small Under the counter refrigeration one must all but kneel down to utilize Not very well maintained
Response from the manager We are so sorry you did not like this unit. Most people feel it is very comfortable. We will let the owner know about your complaints. We have plenty of condos in our portfolio. Please give us another chance to make it up to you.
“Not that impressed”
Positive feedback first: Condo was a great size, with extra dishes to use as well as some small appliances. Location and view were good.Unfortunately that is the only positive feedback I have for this condo. The town itself is very lovely. Gondola was fun. Negative experience: The staff - bad customer service. Did not call back after 2 different requests. They gave us 3 different maps because of the parking issue and it was not fun driving around searching for parking a mile away after driving overnight. The room - Might have been cleaned in December. There was still a small Christmas tree in the room (It is July)and crumbs fell out of the pull out couch. I read that housekeeping only came once a week yet only left 2 washcloths for a room that could fit up to four. We were not told about the $25 a night parking before we booked and we were also not informed about the lack of air condition in the room. The windows ended up being fine to open for a breeze but the noise was almost too ridiculous to sleep. As our first visit to Colorado, I was disappointed in the condo and the service. We received better service and a cold and clean room for half the price at a Holiday Inn in New Mexico after our 2 night stay at Palmyra. Conclusion, bigger isn't always better. Research research research before you book.
Response from the manager We apologize for the experience you had when visiting this condo. We will be sure to address the lack of communication on our end and make sure this does not happen again. We hope this stay did not put a sour taste in your mouth and we get another opportunity to make it up to you.
we spent 6 nights, with out 2 kids. The appartment is clean, and very well equpped. S Location for skiing is very convenient. We'll come bck, for sure!
“Close enough to the Gondola”
The management was very responsive when we found our ski locker's lock did not work. The lockers were a great convenience so we could drop them off downstairs before crawling upstairs after a day of skiing. Telluride is an awesome mountain!!!
“Great place in an awesome setting !”
We enjoyed 3 nights in Palmyra 3H and "gondola-ed" each day down to Telluride for Blues & Brews. Comfortable and cozy. Could use another reading lamp in living room. Otherwise...perfect for us.
Response from the manager This condo is perfect for 2 people in every season. We hope to see you next year!
“Welcomed summer escape”
Our second summer stay in this condo was an encore to last year. Once again, it was very inviting, offering the comforts of home such as a walk-in closet that accomodates all our clothes and suitcases, a washer/dryer combo, plenty of cabinet space for groceries, and a refrigerator with freezer, just to name a few. The location is very convenient - near restaurants and shops in Mountain Village. On both summer trips, we were glad we brought an oscillating fan. One suggestion to the owner would be to add ceiling fans in the bedroom and living areas to keep air circulating. The only negative item was the mattress on the king bed. It was too hard for a comfortable night's sleep.
Response from the manager Thank you for your review. This condo is very comfortable. We are so happy to hear that this is your second annual trip to Telluride as well as Palmyra 3H. We hope to book your stay for next year.
“A very nice stay.”
Palmyra 3H is a very nice stay-comfortable living area, clean. Access to the gondola and mountain village restaurants are a short, easy walk. The only complaint about the condo is the bed. Its horribly uncomfortable. For as nice of a condo as it is, its a shame that we struggled to get a good nights sleep.
Response from the manager Thank you for your review. I will be sure to pass this information on to the owner and see if they can consider purchasing a new mattress if this becomes a common complaint. Thank you!
“A 5-star experience”
Quiet, clean, beautiful setting, perfect location, could not have been any better! Thanks!
Response from the manager Great! Thank you. Lets book again for next year!
