Tristant 209 was a fabulous home. Our 6 day stay was exciting and fun. We fly fished and took a Jerp ride over Imogene Pass. What a thrill that was. The view from our home was without compare!!!
Response from the manager Imogene Pass is definitely a thrill! Over 13,000 feet above sea level with giant peaks in every direction. It was the home of Fort Peabody at the start of the last century, a redoubt manned by guards hired by the mines to make sure banished mine strikers were not trying to sneak back into the valley. “Wonderful vacation in Telluride!”
We loved our vacation in Telluride. Telluride is a special place! The people are very friendly and helpful and the area is spectacularly beautiful. Our condo rental at Villas at Tristant was very nice. It is a gorgeously built townhouse with great views. The reservations / customer service folks were very nice and helpful. Our only complaints were small things and had to do with the housekeeping staff. When we arrived, there was no dishwasher detergent, just one kitchen handtowel and no key was left in the lockbox as we were advised. We called and the detergent and addl towels were brought. A key was brought after the 2nd time we called. Also, one bathroom had washcloths provided & the others did not. When a housekeeper came to change towels, she did not do so for one bedroom. We brought laundry detergent with us that disappeared on the 2nd day. We looked everywhere and it was gone. I called the office but it was never returned. These are minor things, but I thought I should bring them to your attention. I have worked in the property management and condo rental business and know that it is good to receive feedback to be able to improve your service. Thanks again! We had a wonderful time and will be back!

“Very nice townhouse”
My husband, friends and I go to the Telluride Blues and Brews festival every year and each time, we book a place to stay in town or in Mountain Village. This townhouse has been by far one of the nicest places we have stayed in yet. The kitchen is decked out with top of the line appliances and the rooms are tastefully decorated. My husband and I stayed in the master room and the bathroom looked newly finished with travertine tile, a steam shower and jetted tub. My only complaints with the place were that the garage was very narrow (too narrow to park a larger vehicle such as an oversized SUV or truck) and when we got there, there was a basement area that we thought was part of the rental, but it turned out to be where the owner stays. We didn't like this at all because he had access to us the entire time we stayed there and I was not informed of this prior to arriving at the townhome. I called management about it and while they assured me that our belongings were safe and would be left untouched, one of the members of our party placed a paper in his door and when we returned, the paper had already fallen to the ground. Moreover, management told me they would call me back and never did.

Beautiful place with fantastic views! Check in and out was easy, the maid service an extra nice bonus. Only complaints were that the fireplace was not working, but it did get fixed. Toward the end of our stay, the hot tub had a stale, musty smell when we were in it. We were out of a few kitchen supplies such as salt. The downstairs bedroom did not come with robes. Also, the keys were not on the railing by the front door, as it said on the check in instructions, they were on the counter in the kitchen. We used the garage. The garbage was full and had a very bad smell when we moved in. No recycling. All in all, we had a great time.
“Unbelievable Thanksgiving experience”
Great ski in/ ski out condo. Appointed very eloquently and has upper end appliances..., The property manager was great and very helpful with everything. Skiing was just opening up but got lucky with some heavy snow. Going back again in February!

Everything about the property was exceptional. The construction, amenities, location and of course the view. I was impressed by the quality and comfort of the furnishings, it was tastefully decorated and the attention to detail with even the linens made you feel that it was a well managed property. The location and accessibility were also a big plus. Once you arrived at the condo you really didn't need to drive. Great location and beautiful view. The steam shower and hot tub were welcome sights after skiing. It was difficult to leave.

This rental was a frustrating experience. The initial contact over the phone was average, but I really wanted to give them a try. We checked in to a 3 bedroom with full kitchen. There was no microwave. The washer and dryer had a sign on them advising they were not working. Unfortunately, we need to do laundry during a week ski vacation. The reception on the TV in the living room was poor. Only 1 channel, every other channel was static. The whirlpool tub in the master bath didn't work. Telluride alpine Lodging sent plumbers and cable repairman to the villa. Tal asked us to meet the repairman and explain the problems. We spent at least 3 hours of our first ski day, in the villa waiting for repairman and explaining the issues. The plumber told us the tub couldn't be fixed, because there was no access to the electrical, motor, wiring etc. It had all been tiled in behind the wall. He said didn't meet code and this villa never should have been occupied. We talked to TaL, each time a problem came up. We were supposed to stay 5 nights. We had only stayed one night and we couldn't take it anymore. (We were able to get reservations at the Fairmont Franz Klammer) After numerous conversations, TaL finally let us out of the rest of the stay (we agreed to stay that night, as it was already mid-afternoon, by the time we got everything settled and we had just started skiing.). Of course, they charged us the non-refundable reservation fee, but credited us the room rate for the final 3 nights. We moved over to the Fairmont FKL, wow what a difference!!! great customer service, great rooms,,,much better
Response from the manager We have to admit that this guest did have a very rough start to her stay. The property was in foreclosure then (Jan. 2010) and since has been resold. The new owners are very excited about the townhome and have addressed all the infrastructure issues as well as added new electronics and appliances where needed.
