“Very spacious well maintained appartment”
We enjoyed our 1 week stay in this very clean and spacious first floor appartment. The owners were very helpful throughout the booking process. All the rooms are generously proportioned and the kitchen is well equipped. The wifi worked well and was a great bonus as tourist information provision in Rome is poor. The apartment is on a bus route (number 982) which runs every half hour, it is a 10 minute ride into the vatican area of Rome. This is a residential area with a limited provision of restaurants which is the main downside of this appartment along with the need to use a bus to get to the centre. There is a medium sized supermarket a 10 minute walk away.
Response from the owner We work hard to meet the needs of our guests, and we are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your roman week in our home. Ciao !
The best part of our stay in Italy was probably at this location in Rome. My husband had booked everything in advance, and upon arrival by train, he had instructions from the owner on how to catch a cab (like make sure you ask for meter, not a flat rate so we wouldn't be scammed). She met us at the apartment and gave us a very thorough review of the place, time table for the bus route and a 3-day transportation pass. The apartment was very clean, with modern decor, quiet, and the complex had an elevator! (something we sorely missed while carting 7 pcs of luggage). The bus route was extremely convenient which was located at a loop and ran very early/late with 30 - 60 min intervals. We had absolutely no problem getting to where we wanted to go. There were 3 bus stops around us, but my favourite was the one overlooking the Vatican. I took some really beautiful pictures during the evening. Because this location was on a hill, and on a cul-de-sac, it was very quiet. The beds were comfortable, nice Ikea closets, bathroom showers had plenty of hot water, living room and kitchen were spacious with all the amenities of home. It honestly made us think that if we were to live in Rome, this would be the ideal place we'd want. At the bottom of the hill, connecting to the main street, there is a grocery store and a few restaurants. The bus will take u to a main square where there are more restaurants, great shopping, and access to the metro. We were a family of 4, but I could see this apartment holding 6 comfortably as there were 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms. The couch in the living room could convert into a bed. I had noticed there was a baby high chair and thought a family with young children could definitely stay here. Checking out was a breeze. The owner had kindly organized 2 cabs for us and our luggage. We made it to the train station with no problems. We highly recommend this place to everyone.
Response from the owner Many thanks, we love big families !
“Rome sweet home”
My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was fully kitted out with utensils and electrical goods, the bedrooms were spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and the living area was very relaxing especially at night when we sat around the TV watching sky cinema over a glass of Italian wine. The apartment is located in a quiet suburb away from any noise from traffic and is only 5 minutes away from the Vatican by bus. My wife and I have stayed in Rome on 5 occasions and this by far was our most comfortable stay. I can't recommend this apartment more highly, a stay here will not disappoint.
